Hi, Just brought a 1995 XJ600n as my first big bike after passing my Direct access. unfortunatly it didnt come with a manual and been having trouble locating one. Anyway my problem was that the other day I ran out of fuel on it, and found to my error that i hadnt any reserve tank on it. Can any one help by telling me with position i turn my fuel switch to for off, main tank and reserve. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers from rob

All, I know I shouldnt be asking for encouragement with this BUT me and my best mate who rides an S plate GSXR600(yes I know dont insult it lol) have been taking a bit of footage of each other riding, nothing spectacular but because I have quite an expensive digital camera he wants to get a shot of us both popping a wheelie, not one of those 30 second ones you see on clips but just enough for a decent photo of us both with the front wheel in the air. My question is this, I cannot seem to get the front end up on my FZR600R at all, at least not using the technique that he uses. I appreciate that I am an unexperienced rider though. His technique is to ride along in 1s…

HI! Can anyone help?! Earlier today my friends 2001 R1 fell off the front paddock stand and this resulted in bad scratches and a couple of dents to the patrol tank. Amazingly the rest of the bike has got away scratch free but the tank will need replacing. Does anyone know where there may be a red/white tank in very good conditoin (to match the rest of the bike)? Any suggestions welcomed! Cheers! Whipper263

There hasn't been a motorcycle in our garage for years now, but had it not been for an RD350 and it's successor , an RD400, there may never have been an "our garage". I am trying to put together a visual and audio collage of my Son's Dad's , and to some extent , my own life before he was born - or more specifically, when we were his age..........it will not be complete without the sound of a 2-stroke starting up and then accelerting away at an inordinately high speed...sigh.....those were the days. I have only found one file on the internet thus far and started thinking of where I might have more luck in finding the noise I am in search of. It seemed like this m…

Hi all! New poster here, only just found out this place existed. Have been enjoying a R3 for years. So as you may be familiar, the MT07 comes in restricted and derestricted versions. In AUS it's the MT07LAMS vs MT07HO. Slightly lower capacity in CC's, throttle stop, internal air intake restrictions. Imagine my surprise when I stepped up from a R3 to a MT07HO today, and it felt around 30% faster. much torquer, but a little choking in the top end, vs the expected balls tearing 2x as much power to redline experience, then looked at my throttle stop. Can anyone confirm my suspicions from this image? Also of note, no HO branding/stickers anywhere.

Hi, joined today and now saying hello! I'm in Essex, England and ride a midnight warrior and also just got a good deal on a new purple MT01 - love these big v-twins. Can't wait 'til the MT is run in - I part-exed a Triumph S3 and was a bit sad to see it go. Not anymore!!! Cheers, Hedge.

Hey folks, I'm a hardened commuter cyclist of 8 years but I decided I needed more range and power so I took my CBT and the rest, they say, is history... I've been riding my shiny new (well second hand with 500 miles on the clock) black 2005 YBR125 around for a few weeks now. Thoroughly enjoying it but on the fast A roads at around 50-60mph I'm getting battered by the wind and the bike is feeling a little unstable. From what I've read I could really benefit with a fly screen but alas I can't find one to buy anywhere! Does anyone know where I can get one or if indeed they have one for sale? Are there any compatible screens out their either? Warm regards, …

Hi all Just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is John (AKA Jay), live in Cumbernauld outside Glasgow and I'm 21 years old. For the last 4 years I've been totally into my cars, had 7 in 4 yrs and love the high end cars, BMW's & Audi's. (Driving an A3 just now). I'm starting to look past all that and have done ever since my mate got me into bikes. My mate has an old GSX-R600 and he took me out on it, we also went to the MCN show in Edinburgh and ever since then I've been hooked on bikes. A while back I passed my CBT and my Theory test. At that time my wallet couldn't stretch as far as moving straight to DAS for the big bikes b…
