hi iv been look for an air filter for my yzf r125 and k&n don't have one for the bike is there anyone who has managed to fit a filter to the bike and what type is it and model i was thinking of getting one for say a yz and see how it work cheers rob

hi , whats the ORIGINAL AIR FILTERS type OIL or DRY type in FJR 1300 2007 MODEL? SOME CARS THEY DO NOT RECOMEND oiled type air filters based on air velocity measuring devices like MAF or MAP , do this FJR 1300 2007 model have any problem with oiled type performance air filters ? any info please .

Yo! I recently got a 1999 r6, having a few issues at the moment with the datatool alarm thats on it. When I press the buttons on the alarm fob, nothing happens. When I try turning the ignition on the alarm goes off and the bike just wont start. Any suggestions guys? Thanks

Hiya, I've had my RD350R for about a year and a half . Had a accident and have now decided to streetfighter it . My other half has helped me strip it down and now i duno what to do next. Am thinking about dropping the top end down to about 100m/h but i don't know what spocket sizes to get?

All, I am new to this forum and wanted to pick everyones brain. I have just put a deposit down here in the UK on a 1994 model FZR600. I have been checking various insurance websites and it seems I should have found out something before they closed which is what brings me here. According to the insurers websites there was an FZR600 Genesis which was made roughly 1989-1994 and an FZR600R which was made from 1994 onwards which is where my confusion lies as mine is a 1994 model. I'm not new to bikes, and am active on the RD websites, but this is my first whack at working one on these triples. I'll be watching Ebay for a manual. Not sure of the year - it's a barn find we dragged out into the light the other day. Looks like 91 is the last time it had paperwork, so probably been sitting for about 6 yrs. It feels like it has fairly even compression in all 3 cyl, and the electronics look unmolested. Besides the normal carb cleaning and attention to gunk in the petcock and installing fuel filtes, is there anything in particular on these bikes I need to be aware of before attempting to fire one up ? Hi been biking for a while but just bought a yam thundercat and think its a seriously underrated bike

Just sayin hi. Been off bikes for 18 years but the urge got too much, fell in love with this tcat n just had to have it. Been good for 2 years now (well nearly got me banned!)- just treated her to a new can - sounds like a bike now!! Rear shocks gettin saggy now. Any ideas on replacements/refurbs, its the only thing spoiling an ace bike. Will put a pic on when I suss out how to do it!! Phil

Hi all, Im new to this forum and new to the world of biking. Im 23 and due to do my CBT soon and have decided in a few weeks Im goin to order a new YZF125R. I have been to a dealership and had a look and Im very impressed with it, but having not been able to test drive it, wanted to hear peoples views on it. Im hoping it drives as good as it looks. For the foreseeable future I will need to store the XJ6 outside. Anyone have recommendations on type and size of cover? I was looking at the OXFORD stormex in Medium. Will that fit? Any other recommendations?

Hi there, I'm looking to build a custom bike using a FJ 1200 power plant, but I'm not entirely sure on the engines dimensions, and seem unable to find them on the net. What I really need is centreline of the engine to sprocket measurement to make sure the chain will run without hitting anything on its route. Hello All, I'm doing some experiments with FZR 1000 / YZF 750 motors. Trying different combinations of cams, gearing, etc. and need extra motors to play with. If anyone has a motor for sale, a YZF 750 or a FZR / YZF 1000, preferably in the Southern California region, please let me know. Plan is to put the motor into a YZF750R since I find that to be one of the most comfortable bikes ever, and handles like a dream too! I've also heard that an '03-'04 YZF-R1 motor fits that frame. Any thoughts? There are a few articles about these types of conversions and I am familiar with them. I'll be posting the results of my findings if anyone is interested. Than…
