I've got an old YZF 750r and after many years have decided that I love the bike but I could no longer live with the colour (Barbie Cocktail) So, respray!, Shakey at Supanova has done a fantastic job. Fools and their money are easily parted so, I am now looking for an after market can and rearsets, both of which I don't want to break the bank Any help would be much appreciated.

I have recently bought a yzf750 I noticed their was wires hanging out by the gear sector. I took the sprocket cover off.LOoks like the wires were on the gear positon switch.would their be any reason to take them off? and if not how do i know ware they are to go? my neuterl light works but my bike will not run with the kick stand down even if it is in neutal thanks

I just recently bought a 1995 yzf 750r it has a rounded rad and ohlins back shock. I have been out off biking for quit a few years.Just starting off agian.I read that they didnt start buting the rounded rad in to 1997 is that true . I live in Ontario Canada Thanks

HI EVERYONE ANOTHER NEWBIE. Need help doing a brake conversion on my 96 YZF 750 bought a set of R1 calipers from blacks salvage that came off a YZF 750 but tonight tried to fit on my bike and the bolt holes wont line up to my caliper brackets. This conversion seems to be a common mod ,so what can i do to get it working All HELP much appreciated thanx

Found out a bit more about the idle problem, Been told by guy who spent alot of time with problem on this bike. He feels its sure its ecu after going just about everything with fuel,carbs,jetting, coils,extr..... extr..has anyone tried changing an ecu and will they work on different models..(think this is gonna be a nightmare)...cheers Rich

Hi all, i just bought a YZF R-125. Just waiting to sit my CBT on monday 7th Sep. I used to have an NSR a few years back and i got around 70 mpg taking it easy and 50mpg whilst thrashing it. What is the fuel consumption on the YZF R-125 and how does it handle compared to the NSR?

In what year did Yamaha introduce engine (speed) modes to the YZF R1? What is the expected gas mileage in the weakest power mode? Which is the most efficient mode for street riding/highway cruising?

to start with, i thought that yzf and r1-r6 were the same thing, then i thought they could be diffrent bikes, then i thought they were the same thing again. and now really i have no clue, how comes some r1-r6's say yzf and others dont etc??? just hoping someone can clear this one up for my little mind please

I have a yzf r125, I have a double bubble, tail tidy and pillion cover ordered and im lookin at a new full exhaust system but for £300 the performance difference will be little to zero im just looking for someone who has put a system on there 125 who can recommened or advise against

Hey, Done my CBT last week and am just now waiting on my new 59 plate R125 bein delivered on the 1st of sept, just wondering if anyone has any advice on breaking in the engine and thngs along those lines, so a dont just jump on it and cause any problems for myself etc... Thanks ian

Apparently West London Yamaha have pioneered a way to "de-restrict" the YZF R125, and are charging £150+vat to do it. It consists of fitting a specially modified secret part and a new sprocket, Now common theory is the bike is not restricted any way, so firstly I imagine this is tuning. The second thing is there is supposed to be an article by Liam from MCN floating around somewhere, where he had the work done... I cant find this and wanna see what he had to say. I just dont seem entirely convinced, expecially as they claim that you dont need any kind of fuel management system fitting. Can anyone shed any light on this as I am having real trouble finding any…

How do I remove the covers to get to removing the rear pegs without making a mess?? Cheers Daz

I am considering removing my stock decals and having custom decals made for my bike it but seeing as there so expensive to buy from yamaha (to replace the little front 1 was about £14 i think) is it a good idea as people seem to prefer a stock condition bike when i sell it? I don't want to spend money doing something that is gonna lower the resale value? Any thoughts/recommendations on this...... Thanks I found these pictures and thought the bike looked great with them on although i wanted to remove the R125 decals as well as adding more.

Hi my engine management before the bike is turned over flashes 4 slow times and 2 fast times. Then when the bike is turned over and running it stops on permanent. The bike stills runs fine with with no problems. i was just wondering if anyone could help me with what the problem is. Thanks. PS the day before this light came on my speedo stopped working could that have anything to do with it as ive been told by other people that it hasnt

I've been having a bit of bother getting my damaged mirror off to replace it with a new one. One of the hex key bolts came off no problem but the other is chewed. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and has a quick solution, other than taking it to the dealer. Cheers for any help.

started my bike up this mornin to go to work but it wouldnt start up. battery has not died as my front light come on n my dash display was working. whaen i got back from work i decided to check the spark plugs and to see if the engine is firing both where in good workin order. I don't no what to do next as i dont want to take it to a dealer unless i REALLY have to. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE
