hi i have a 2008 ybr 125 which i have noticed today that there is a cable loose just below the clutch cable which is attached to the lever. it is like a round plug that plugs into the clutch lever. it doesnt seem to cause any problem but i would like to know what is that for. can anybody help.

Okay so im having a bit of trouble with my YBR, Basically if the bike has above 1/2 tank the bike runs perfectly! However as soon as the bike gets to half tank and below it seems to just conk out, feels like fuel starvation. Now when the bike conks out and stalls if I take off the fuel cap and replace it the bike starts up again. So the problem seems related to the fuel tank pressurising or something? My thoughts were maybe a breather pipe or something (apparently YBRs breather is through the fuel cap) is blocked stopping air from getting into the tank therefore forming a vacuum stopping fuel getting into the carb. Hello I am new to the forum and would like to say hi. I have had my 2007 fuel injected Ybr125 for a couple of months and it never idles at lest then 2000RPM. I know a lot of other bikes idle at about 1k so was wondering if I should get it checked out or book it in for a service. Even after a 20mile drive it will never idle less than 2k. Thanks Dan

My son had his YBR125 stolen, but has now got it back. The thieves took out the lock barrel and I need help with how to repair it. Has anyone replaced the barrel and, if so, how difficult was it to do please? Thanks for any help. (P.S. Sorry for the poor quality photo. Hey guys. I'm planning a trip down to Liverpool from Irvine, Scotland. Problem here is, my wee 125 doesn't have a radiator and is air cooled. What I was wondering was... Does anyone know how long I could ride for without the engine overheating? I've heard somewhere around an hour, but I've been on a round trip round to Kilmarnock twice from my house, and that was about an hour and a half of country road. The engine was hot, but felt like it was the same temperature of a short 10 mile journey. I do know that it WILL eventually overheat and can't do the trip in one go. Thanks in advance Tom

Hey there, I have had my YBR125 from new. It has had its second service a while ago, and when I checked to see when the 3rd was due, there was no note of it from my engineer. Does anyone know what sort of mileage I need to have the 3rd service done? It has done about 2k miles since service 2.. Is it about now, or do I still have some way to go? Thanks in advance Andy

Howdy The button start on my YBR125 (2005) stopped while ago and finally diagnosed it to be starter relay Are the relays on all years the same or do I need a 2005 only one? Thanks Gary

I'm looking to replace my stocks, they're a bit crap. Anyway, I love the bike, but from a purely asthetic point of view I wish the back tyre was bigger (I live on a small island with a 30mph national speed limit so I really don't care about performance decreases or whatever, handling differences I am interested in though ). Anyway, 90/90-M18 is the size, so is it possible to fit a bigger tyre? Maybe the 3.50-16 58P off the YBR-Custom? If I am stuck with the 90/90 M18, then I hear the bridgestones are good, do they look any better? (i've heard they do) If anybody has any before and after picture's i'd absolutely love to see. Please keep in mind i'm clue…

Hi, Standard headight bulb is the BA20d 35w/35w luminescence. Could i fit a 45/40w halogen BA20d bulb with no adverse effects on battery drain, or wiring? Thanks

hi is ther any1 outther that can help me i have an r6 1999 that came with a YM4 immobiliser and my key fob to disarm it just stoped working. . im having to use the Back up card to disarm it and does any 1 no can i code the fob again?

Hi i finally have the right place! can anyone tell me anything about modified or race spec cdi for the R1. There is one on e bay at the mo but i assume he knows as much as me about them! Ok, a local shop- http://4wheelonline.com is offering me a good price on a Yoshimura TRC-D carbon fiber slip-on. Just curious if carbon fiber will fade over time because I’ve read some reviews that CF cans has a tendency to go faded due to heat. Anyone experience the same thing? another noob question here guys forgive me.... so its come time for me to mod the bike out a bit and the first thing i wasnt to change is my exhaust... mainly cuz i dont like how the stock exhaust sounds..... aside from the added power gain i was wondering.... if i just get a slip on exhaust WITHOUT headers will taht alone change the sounds drastically.... or do i need to buy the full system to get a better sound or will the sound not change at all thanks in advance
