hi all have just booked my first ever track day,after nearly 40 years riding.but whot the hell. just wondered if i will have to take of my backbox rack and plate, or will it be ok, any one know. thanks

Did an evening track session at Donington Wednesday 9th, nice and ry, first since last Sept. Rusty riding at first, disturbed the gravel a little, but smoother in the later sessions.

Im there Monday for the road bikes trackday, taking the fz6. Question is, do I remove the centre stand or leave it on. Im inclined to take it off. Ill be taking a few tools just as back up if owt needs adjusting, and the mirrors will come off the day before

Went to Southport this afternoon to test the camera out. bloody thing fell off my helmet, luckily just turning a corner at traffic lights in Lord street and can say its fine. they have a satin rubbery finish on the case which the velcro didn't stick to very well. i also forgot to set the mode so I have to crank my head over 90' to watch it anyway was a good ride out and I learned a lot (what not to do)

Am off there tomorrow, its in Fleetwood this year,,,rugby club,, home sat eve, just took decision tonight, neeed to get out on bike, weather is dry, 15 degree, ALL weekend, Meeting up with 2 at Edinburgh , I"l be on the Tiger , Lancashire here we come

Firstly hi all haven't been on line for a long long time now. Too cut a long story short hubby had a big bike accident last year and thankfully was very lucky however same can't be said for his fazer 1000! Now in seven boxes in my garage. Great. He has fully recovered (ish) back to the hospital later this year to have the metal work looked at the usual thing you know. Am planning a raid down drewps & old gits neck of the woods. iv a mate in Halifax, so gonna trailer my bike there, and base there. iv googled glossop. its a stones throw under the M62/ huddersfield , and i know where drewps is. so a holliday round the moors& peak district for me . if bike dosna break down , might take in fest of 1000 . bikes. 9th/10th .

Not as boring as you think as the colliery has one of the last massive steam winding engines in the UK. http://www.agcm.org.uk/ There is a small museum there too and its near the Bridgewater canal. wasn't too sure this was on today,so took a chance as I was only a few miles from Astley Green Colliery. Turns out that there were a few Velos there and other bikes. Had a mooch round and I would recommend a visit if you have never been before this huge beast was in a shed at the back of the grounds, Eccles built Gardner engine and to top it off, I got 2nd prize for non-Velo bike(didn't even know there was any) nice Birthday pressie
