  1. Started by Cynic,

Its on the 17th of june at at the robin hood at Clifton Reynes. That's Between Bedford and Northampton. Its the 3rd year, guy in the TDR forum just getting out there and setting a meet up. If people could throw a nod to the other 2 stroke forums, Aircooled, Kwak etc that folk may use as well as here it would help him a lot, spread the word. Cheers,

Anyone riding out tomorrow? Im not up for screaming round hairpin bends at speeds that give me an instant facelift - just a nice, leisurely bimble to break in Lucian some more. PM me if you fancy it

  5. So it's going to be a great weekend, weather-wise, compared to what we've become used to recently. Is anyone aware of anything interesting going on down in the Home Counties-ish area? Otherwise perhaps a little visit to Box Hill or thereabouts might be in order.

met up with Tommy and his son Jim at Lymm services late morning for a foray into Matlock Bath. I took them vai macc and the A54 "south of macc" to top of cat and fiddle, a much better road and no speed cameras. Was very greasy as they had overnight rain. the via Velia was shut butthey didn't tell us till 1/2 way down so took a left and went down a cracking B raod to Bakewell then down the A6 to Matlock. Home was through Ashbourne and onto the A515 we managed to experience the 4 seasons ( not Vivaldi) showers in macc sunshine in Matlock hail stones on cat and fiddle we also met 3 members of a rock group

  11. Hi, Looking for one, possibly two team members to do this event. Cost for the Team Entry is only £45, with proceeds going to a very good cause, Welsh Air Ambulance. It is a one-day navigational green-laning event, sort of like a treasure hunt, but aimed at beginners/inexperienced riders too!! Read more here.... http://www.taffydakar.co.uk/Eventschedule.html I have ridden with the organisers before, they are great fun, and this is an event not to be missed!!!! The scenery and trails are stunning. I am guessing it will be in South-East Wales, not too far from the Bridge. Road-legal offroad tyres like MT21 or TKC80 are advised. They don't want moto…

Last year I bumped into a couple of bike events at pubs around North Gloucestershire - Tewkesbury, Cleeve etc by chance. They were really good with an excellent turnout. Are the dates for these published anywhere? I'd rather ride the bike to them but don't know who promotes them? Any help? Craig

This diner opened only a few months ago and they have regular biker meets. I went for special biker breakfast this morning and there were not many bikes at all, so I thought I'd promote the place a little. The food is ok, and it's like a mini Ace Cafe, so quite nice. It's just off A12 near Witham. I hope to see some of you there at the regular Wednesday biker meets. The 8 Ball Diner
