The weekend of July 8/9/10 is the annual rally for the Yamaha Aircooled rally at Ashbourne in Derbyshire. The RD LC club come as well. Classic RD's and specials. Also the Sunbeam club is there the same time. The clubs agm and ride out are on Sunday the14th of August at the Merry Harriers Pub Hambledon, Near Godalming Surrey Those that wish to come on yamahas do not have to be members, they welcome riders on any machine. Those wishing to camp can do so on site at £3 per person, the site pub tel number is 01428 682883 . My name is Martin Bell from Newcastle. Myself & a couple of friends have been running a RD club for about eight years with about 40 members, RD Aircooled, LC, ypvs, kettles, ect you get the picture, anyway we are having a club rally 8 miles west of Durham city near Wolsingham in a P.O.W CAMP from the second world war!! Its in a nice position out in the countryside. We thought it would be good if there were all the bikes from the 70,s, (2 Strokes) hence the invitation to join us. We plan rides out to Hartside Cafe. Gents, Its that time again when the Automobile Club de l'Ouest have finally released the dates for this years Le Mans 24hr Moto endurance. They are the weekend of the 22 - 23 April 06. Once again I shall be there, along with 25 or so others from the group I ride with throughout the year. Comrades, T K Cope Motorcycles (Colchester 01206 574765) where I bought my bike, are organising a trip through the following countries: France, Belgium, Holland, Germany (Black Forest), Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Italy (Alps). Firstly hi all haven't been on line for a long long time now. Too cut a long story short hubby had a big bike accident last year and thankfully was very lucky however same can't be said for his fazer 1000! Now in seven boxes in my garage. Great. He has fully recovered (ish) back to the hospital later this year to have the metal work looked at the usual thing you know. My name is Jon Carlson and, along with my wife Kathy, are the Coordinators for Ride for Kids, Northern California. We would like to invite you to our ride on June 25th. The start point is Pleasanton Middle School in Pleasanton, CA. This is the first time event for the San Francisco Bay Area. We have 36 rides around the country and have held one in Sacramento/Woodland for the last 12 years. Registration is from 08:00 - 9:30 and the ride starts promptly at 10:00 AM. It is escorted by both the Pleasanton Police Dept. and California Highway Patrol. There is a light breakfast and lunch served. Almost every Sunday we ride out of Stamford and head up into the NY area and head up route 301 towards Bear MT. Then on the way back we make our way to Marcus Dairy in Danbury CT. If anyone interested let me know I'll give you the time were meeting (most of the time 6:00am).
