ok if its someone on here i feel guilty..... Xt 125 got a bit ahead of themselves today. Couldnt be arse to play chase after 400mile in the truck. Not to mention using my baby in these awful conditions. Well the next turn they did it again. Im assuming they thought it was another 125. So once the road straightend a little i made like the starship enterprise. Warp 6 mr sulu. Still feel guilty though.

Im one the verge off buying aload of ttr performance parts Digitally reprogrammable CDI 150cc BBR Bore Kit Hot Cams (comes with bore kit) Has anyone out there attempted this ? Well what a first race to start the season. Mark Marqez had a blinding race considering its his first race on the big bikes. Lorenzo...................well what can i say he is a cracking rider and showed that last night, but if Rossi hadn't been a complete twit on the first few laps i recon the race would have been a corker between those two. Mr Crutchlo really needs to stop letting the pressure get to him, if he had kept his calm when Rossi went for him he wouldn't have gone off and could have stuck with Rossi for a few more laps. Just my 2p on the race. did any one else watch?

Hi all wondered what anyone else is achieving? I'm averaging about 72ish MPG. Is this about right? The bike is nearly 20 years old but I had been led to believe I should be getting more. Cheers

so, not a yamaha, but its still worth asking as all you people are extremely heplfull! basically, the SV i bought is running fine, up untill about 4500-5000rpm, and the one of the cylinders cut out. there was a heap of water in the tank, but thats been drained/cleaned along with all the lines and the carbs, anyone got any ideas as to what to check next? was planning using it this week but since its nae got the same reliability as my yamaha, i decided to take my *caugh* trusty xj *cough* instead. All the indicators will not work when I try them there's a click but nothing else any ideas where to start ? I have looked at all the bulbs and they are all fine. They worked fine last night when I came home from work and at 05:30 this morning nothing ?

Pretty much what the title says. My chassis and engine number start with 2K4 and on the info plate next to the chassis number I have "Model DT175 Type 2K4" with a bit of German as well. I know the bike is an import from details on the V5 but does the 2K4 give any more info.

Having not long passed my test, we (the wife and I) decided to go for a ride out to the south coast. I've a XJ6 'divvie' with touring kit and as the bike juddered on the front I already know that I needed to stiffen the suspension to counteract the extra weight - i mean ballast - i mean balance - OH damn it sorry luv you know what I mean, so i pumped the rear suspension right round to No.7 and it seemed okay to ride Q.1. Is the suspension set on No.7 safe to ride with a pillion as I'm not sure as its all new to me? Now on to the motorway and all was good. Last night it (the 83 XJ900) finally started . After sitting for about 10 yrs, it is rough but ran for about 5 minutes while Playing with the idle. Got a miss or two and got spark shooting out of the exhaust which is way to loud (guessing some rust etc). Choke cable was seized solid so thats off for now. Piece by piece....

Has any one ever had a Yamaha 600 Thundercat and what do you think of them ? Had some trouble tonight with the bike, came to start it after the weekend, battery was flat! Completely dead, not even dim lights on the dash. So bumped it, and took my charger to work, plugged in charger on but not charging. Thinking it's knackered, maybe from being left in the sun all weekend? Only thing I can think of. Any thoughts?

Hey folks, today a nice police lady informed me that in the near future, if I get caught sitting on the green bicycle box at traffic lights with my MOTORbike, I'll get fined 120 smackers and get three points on my license. Oh joy! I mean seriously 3 points? Like when you get caught speeding? Because it's just as bad/dangerous? Sure give the cagers 3 points when they do it, with their fat arses taking up all the space on the green box but bikers? Come ooooooon! Grumph. And indeed harrumph...

Starting up motocross next year, im going to be 15 years old! So ill be old enough to enter a 250cc class I've never rode motocross, but I've got quite a good feel for bikes as ive riden for 9 years through woods, fields and trials, I currentley have a dt 125, as people have told me i should get a 250cc to start on with motocross because ive already got a 125 (I know there's a big difference between a dt and a yz) Im fairly tall like 5 foot 10, im 11 stone, so would a 250 be a good bike to start on? Or a 125? Im sensible on bikes im not crazy! Your opinion on what cc I've i should get?
