Hi there everyone, i'm new on this site as i have just bought my first baby drag. I have wanted a dragstar since first seeing one in 2001, i finally got my hands on one and she's a beaut! i have no pics to post at the mo, but shouldn't be long. I have been thinkin of swappin over the pipes and wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to which ones would sound and look mean. the louder the better! i haven't set any alarms off going past them yet, that's all i want. i offer the hand of friendship to all who love drags, they are lovely aren't they! peace and happiness, and ride safe.

I've not tested the water of late, I'll do it tonight, although to be honest I don't even think I've got an Ammonia test kit! Nitrite is defo at 0, unsure about Nitrate, again I'll have a check although I did a 1/4 water change yesterday and removed the carbon from the filter as I've put some medication in, the Domino Molly has a fungal infection, which is now clearing up. When I removed the carbon, I cleaned (in old aquarium water) 2 of the 4 foam filter pads and added in some new Biomax into the now empty trap (from the Carbon) the filter - it's an external Fluval 205 filter. The carbon will get replaced next week when the Molly is fuly recovered. All the othe…

You will probably guess from my username that I am new to biking ,I have bought a 79 xs 250 off ebay ,its a bit of a dog at the moment but I am hoping to give her a good seeing to and ride her like seabiscuit . Anyhoo I have to fill out a V5 ,and need the frame number only thing is I cant seem to find it ,can anyone tell me where it is ,it looks as the the frame has had a lick of paint at some point but I would have thought I would have been able to find it . So after paying 132 quid for the bike (I am not cheap just things are a little tight for us all at the moment) I got it home and tried to fire it up ,needed some juice in the battery so hooked it up to the car…

Any1 tried riding one of these?... I had a crash course (literally) when I went to India abt. 3 years ago.. Never been on a bike before learning on an Enfield... So for me, gear changing on the Right and brakind with the left foot was normal... Great fun they are!.. but not when they land on you because you try to avoid a bullock heading for a collision course (totally oblivious those things!!!) The best thing about riding in India is that you dont need to wear a helmet - such a sense of freedom!... - just pop your flip flops an and away you go.. err ensuring you've clothed all other necessary bits.. regards -mits-

Now I'm not putting trike riders down as we all have our preferences............but I'll start the story here.........I was driving my car down the road (as you do) and I was behind a trike, rider just had geans and T-shirt on, NO LID and this go me thinking (always a 1st I know) When out on my bike I often get smacked in the head by the odd passing BEE and at speed you really feel it through the lid and of course hear the THUMP as it strikes the LID. Now 99% of the time it hits the visor and this got me thinking....................just how much must it hurt at 60 mph when riding a trike with no lid on as you pass a field full of rape seed, bee's and other f…

Had a near miss last night from work Was riding thru' freckleton going home. There is this slight bend to the right, (no more than 20° I'd say). On the inside of the bend, there is a newsagents where there was a car parked. An oncoming car is ovrtaking the parked car, at which point the driver of the parked car gormlessly opens the door, the overtaking car consequently swerves into my lane (Narrow lanes) I have to nearly swerve onto the footpath, If I didnt swerve as much as I did, - well, it would have been nasty... bloody gormless driver!...

hey, I'm new to motorbiking and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good websites that discuss/review motorbike clothing and/or helmets - particularly in terms of protective ability. Also, in particular, any advise on helmets is welcome. cheers!
