  3. Teammate Jorge Lorenzo experienced his second Grand Prix weekend to forget today, making a jump start at the beginning of the race and receiving a ride-through penalty as a result. He pitted immediately at the end of the opening lap and re-joined at the back of the field in 23rd. The four-time world champion then showed his dedication and professionalism, working hard to move back through the pack to earn his first championship points of the season. As he crossed the finish line he did so in tenth position, less than four seconds from Rossi in eighth. The eighth place finish gains Rossi a further eight points to give a total of 28, dropping him to third on the overal…

Hi, I have purchased 5 new rear disc bolts for my XJ6s and I would like to know the tightening torque also whether I should use threadlock on them ? Another less important thing I would like an opinion on is the round gear shift rubber which I have also purchased, it is genuine Yamaha and I notice one end of the hole is chamfered and the other is square, which way round should it be fitted on the metal lever ? Hopefully someone has the answers ! Lincol

Hi everybody. Does anyone have experience with sidecases on xj600n from year 2003. I just bought mine a few weeks ago and I'm thinking about mounting sidecases but the bike seems pretty small for them. If anyone has some pictures or links I would be grateful. Thanks

HI Guys, Need some of your views on what might be the problem for my bike. I own a Yamaha Fazer bike, now four years old. I'm experiencing problems during revving up the bike to high speeds. The engine gives up suddenly, the throttle doesn't respond(like what you face when the fuel tank goes dry), but the fuel tank is full, battery is recently charged. Then I need to keep the bike idle for around 10 - 15 minutes, then the engine check light blinks and then i can start the bike again but not for long when this happens again. I have changed the whole electrical wiring twice now but doesn't seem to solve the problem. It works good till a week after servicing the bike, b…

Hi - Can anyone please help? I am after a Certificate of Conformity for my 2005 Yamaha TDM900 in order to export to France. Should I be able to get one from Yamaha UK, free of charge? They have yet to respond to my email of yesterday. I hear that people seem to have some trouble getting these Certificates that in reality shouldn't be necessary as they originate in a European country... Many thanks for any help that anyone can give me. Jetty

Anyone using Continental Tyres may want to read this: http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news--general-news/continental-recalls-170000-tyres/25409.html Quote from above: "The recall, which Continental is coining the voluntary tyre exchange program, covers 170,000 tyres worldwide in sizes 120/70 ZR 17 and 120/70 R 17. The faulty rubber was sold for both OEM and replacement use between 2007 and 2014 - any tyres with DOT serial numbers between 1907 and 2614 are covered under the program."

  19. Aware that he was still followed by rival Marquez, the Doctor put the hammer down on the next lap but went slightly off line on the last corner and was forced to give the position to Marquez. Rossi refused to give up and chased his rival but, as the tyres started to wear down and the heat started to take its toll, he was unable to retake the lead and finished the race in second, +2.445 behind the leader. Teammate Lorenzo catapulted off the line at the start of the Sepang battle and arrived at the first corner in second place until a slight touch with rival Marc Marquez forced him wide in the first corner. The Majorcan was quick to recover and went through the first cor…
