Hey folks. I’m just getting myself back into biking and have bought a DT125R (2001) to start off. The bike has been stripped of all road parts for full time off road use. When I bought it I was told the power valve does not open/close, and has been set mid way. Apparently this is because some part of the electrics &/or the battery has been removed (there is no battery). When I first got the bike this was fine, but now I would like more low/high range power to do jumps etc. Can anyone help me restore the power valve to open and close automatically as it should? Any help/advice appreciated

got a xj650 maxim having an issue with it stalling while riding . can start it back up with elec start but after a ride i park it for a day or two and then i loose spark . had it at triple m motorsports in edmonton they had it for a month and a half and 1600$ later and no fix , anyone have any insight to a fix please let me know

Hi all, many moons ago i cut my teeth on an 88 genisis thou, it has always had a special place in my bike memories, and last week the gods of two wheels saw fit to put a 1990 fzr 1000 in my path for the sum of 300 sheets. I kind of knew we were destined to spend a long time in the shed together from the phone call, but she's now in my van,in more pieces than i can count along with a new akropovic race can as the pipes are more than a little shagged. i own a yamaha aerox 50cc, 04. and i got a small pipe coming out of my carb and its leaking my water and coolant, does anyone know how i can fix this ? thanks.

my bike keeps acting as though its running out of fuel.i have changed or cleaned everything fuel related and still no change. the bike may run for 10 miles or half a mile before it does this and will only restart with the choke on hot or cold but will not rev.4 times this week i have stripped the bike down and getting frustrated with it. any ideas??????????

ive fitted a leo vince zx exhaust on my yamaha aerox 50cc including the rollers and clutch springs which came with the exhaust, the rollers weigh 4.3g, im just woundering what size jet do i need to gain maximium performance as its really slow in accelerating upto 40mph then flys upto 60mph. help would me most appreciated.

Hello everyone, I have recently been finding myself doing alot of green laning and have been using both www.trailwise.org.uk and definitive maps. It uses google maps as a basis to display its maps, and i really want to import all the routes onto my google maps app on my android phone. Problem is i Dont know how. I can see u can export the maps with the Exporter, however i think i need to be a member of the TRF/Glass or CRAG. I want it so i can basically use my Phone as a GPS to the unregistered tracks + green lanes which google maps dosent route correctly. Anyone use anything similar ? Thanks G

Hello fellow bikers I am still trying to fix my RXS 100 and now working on the exhaust. Basically, it's f*****.. downpipe is full of holes, exhaust baffle is maybe two times shorter (burned ? ). I don't think it is possible to fix anything so I have decided to buy new parts. The only problem is... there are none. So, does anyone now if parts from similar bikes like ( YB 100, FS1E ) would fit ? On a picture, they look like they should fit, however I would feel a lot more confident if I can get some advices Tomas

Anyone know of a reference for the HSC32 carb. I have a 1981 Maxim XJ650. I'm rebuilding the carbs and ran into a little (I hope) problem. I left the carb block sit in the carb cleaner and all the rubber seals at the end of the throttle rods and in where the return springs are has rotted away. I hadn't planned on taking these apart - so much for that. I have the Yamaha factory manual (paid $82 bucks for it) and would have though it would have been more thorough (it's just slightly better than a Haynes). I'm replacing all the jets, cleaned up a bunch of stuff, replacing all the screws, etc. It's cleaned up pretty good but now I have to replace all the rubber. Any poin…
