Aware that he was still followed by rival Marquez, the Doctor put the hammer down on the next lap but went slightly off line on the last corner and was forced to give the position to Marquez. Rossi refused to give up and chased his rival but, as the tyres started to wear down and the heat started to take its toll, he was unable to retake the lead and finished the race in second, +2.445 behind the leader. Teammate Lorenzo catapulted off the line at the start of the Sepang battle and arrived at the first corner in second place until a slight touch with rival Marc Marquez forced him wide in the first corner. The Majorcan was quick to recover and went through the first cor…

Hi All firstly, just wanted to say hello, as I am new to here, picking up my new R6 next weekend. 2003, blue & completely standard apart from mushrooms & sliders, like a kid waiting for Christmas at the moment Anyway, would someone be so kind as to tell me if the 03 R6 has the Yamaha KISS immobiliser fitted? I know it has an immobiliser fitted & just assumed it was this. I'll get some pics up as soon as I can. Cheers. Stu

Hello, Can anyone recommend a good new & used Yam spares website? For my Honda I've used David Silver Spares a few times & they have proved to be cheaper than buying from the dealer, but is there anyone similar for Yamaha's? Cheers

I recently done an oil change and I have managed to damage the thread that the Allen bolt from the oil chamber screws into. I have as a quick fix, do the PTFE mend, which seems to hold, but I think it's best to replace. I have a 95 (M) plate and seen quite a few replacement cases for sale on eBay, but none of them are from that year. Do I need to wait until a 95 clutch case becomes available or will anyone from any year do the job. Thanks in anticipation

Hi All, The headlight on my Yamaha Sr 125 is broken, and I've been trying to replace it -- but I did not expect it to be such a hard job! I can't find the replacement anywhere including eBay. I also tried to get some sort of standard 7-inch light -- but it didn't fit into the bracket. Can anyone advise me on what headlights I can use (possibly from other Yamaha models?) Many thanks, Paul.

hi all i bought my bike only last week and i love it but im stuck because my headlight bulb broke. i removed the screws holding the headlight in place, pulled out the light and removerd the rubber part on the back of the light to access the bulb. once i removed this i seen that the person i bought the bike off had used a wrong bulb and had copper wire jammed in the hole to make the connections so the bulb would work. since then i have ben looking for the right type of bulb i need but i cant seem to find it anywhere. apparently these bulbs are meant to be H4s but the bulb i need is like a bayonet type (like the ones used in the house) but this has 3 prongs rathe…

Hey everyone! 👋🏼 I'm working on my first bike - Yamaha SR125, and there's a lot of technical stuff that I don't really understand - could use a bit of advice. So the thing is, I absolutely hate the original levers of my bike, they are way too big and out forward for my hands, the position also doesn't allow me to add handguards, plus they just look ugly. I really want to get a set of aftermarket levers, but of course they don't make any for this bike model. So I'm thinking - would it work if I got like a set of lever holders (perches) from a different model and coupled those up with new aftermarket levers? Has anyone done something like this? I don't see any…

Apologies if this topic already exists but I’m a newbie and couldn’t find a search facility. I’m looking for replacement side covers L and R. The model year is 1982 ie drum brakes front and rear. Any suggestion I’d happily subscribe if this works 😀

Hello all. I have just bought my first Yamaha, it's a SZR 660 Super single, it's on a P plate with 19K. The engine/gearbox is soundo, but the farrings could do with a spruce up. I have considered a respray, but thought I would see if anyone had a full farring kit going (including fuel tank)? wishful thinking? Let me know what spares you have for this bike, anything will be considered, or direction to where i could locate these bits. Chris
