Hi... Late last year i acquired an XT125R as a project for me and my step-son to be to rebuild and 'bond' over the Christmas break. However, what with the very cold weather we are only just thinking of starting on it. The history is that I have got an unridden/unregistered frame (2005-2007 i reckon), an engine, complete wiring loom and most, ifnot all, the elctrical bits (relays, ECU, etc).... The problem i am finding is that despite having a Haynes manual, i am struggling to work out where some of the components/hoses go.... Is there someone out there who has a XT and a digital camera that can help me work this out by taking some detaied shots of there bike to show…

Hell i have a 1983 Yamaha maxim 400.. how do i know if i have the XS400R or XS400 ? I want to get new NGK iridium plugs and not sure what motor to get them for, as they are different part numbers. THANKS! 1984-1977 400 XS400 Iridium BPR7EIX 4055 0.032 1983-1982 400 XS400R Iridium DR8EIX 6681 0.028 I don't trust the plugs that are in there now. The guy I bought the bike from wasn't very mechanically inclined.

I recently bought a 1977 xs 750. I have rebuilt the carbs as they were in horrible condition. The bike sounds great now, but it dies as soon as i hit 3,000 rpm. I'm not sure what the problem is. I have a restored '76 YZ 125 and trying to find any information about the bike such as Sales Brochure, pictures or info about where to place the Warning Labels such as the gas tank or rear fender? Anything related to the bike would be appreciated.

Hi every1. Ime a new member on the forum and hope to get stuck in with all the discussions. I dont currently own a bike tho i use to own a 1998 yamaha r1. I loved every minute i was on it but sold it and went down the path of fast cars. Soon realising to get bike performance you need to spend stupid amounts of money!! Even then nothing was a much fun as my old r1. Ime looking to buy another r1 but one thats bin turbo charged. I would love to here from any of you guys who have exsperienced a r1 turbo and could give me there apinions on whether or not this is a good buy or should i say wise purchase? Many thanks jay

looking for any advice regarding my xt 125 .the electric starter wont work ,the starter motor spins but the bike wont fire up.changed starter motor,ignition coil,starter relay but no change.will start with kick starter.spark plug fires when kick startred but not with electric starter. does anyone have any suggestions. look forward to any helpful replies louis

hi all, i purchased what i was told a 1974 or 1976 dt400 enduro, no number plate, is there a site where i can trace the plate from the frame and engine numbers, or is there anyone who can trace them for me, thankyou very much. the bike is all there, needs stripping and refurbing, but hey, the engine kicks over, i brought it off my neighbour, it has been laying in between his shed and fence with a cover over it for the last 15 years, but it was last year he fired the engine up, with a struggle, but it did fire up.. G'day all! Been a member for a while and never really post so take this opportunity to show off my toys Finally got my new toy for general use and fun! I say new... but new to me, 02 Mini Cooper which is a lovely step up from my Ford KA! I just love the central locking, haha as that was my main must have with a new car. Fairly low mileage for an 8 year old car at just 39,OOO Had to be good old British Racing Green with go-faster stripes! ok i got this bike 1979sx1100 it cranks fine i cheek all power but i have no spark at all but i do have power at the coiles what is wrong or what am i over looking

hello i have an 86 radian yx600. it has sat for awhile. i can get it started but if i rev on it really hard and fast it sputters out (kind of like it is choking out). i have checked the valve clearance, timing, and compression. so my thought is the carb.. i took them apart and everything looked fine. also from time to time the carbs will just seep out fuel from an overflow valve. please help if you can, basically i have ran out of things to try and i really dont want to have to get rid of this classic speed demon -kyle

This thing is a basket case. I bought this engine from some guy who really knew nothing about it. After some research is found that it was a xs500b. Im planning on using it on a go kart if i can get it running. The question i have has to do with the push lever assembly on the clutch. The rod that goes from the assembly into the clutch is missing and/or broke. I found a couple of schematics, but wasn't very useful. Can anyone help? Thanks Chris..

hi all can any one tell me if the starter relay is broken on my bike. when i try to start it all it does is buzzes at the starter relay/positive terminal and you can feel it vibrate. all i have done is change the battery to a new one as old one was goosed.also where do i get a starter relay from? cheers for any advice/help in advance friedegg ps it is a x plate 2000 year
