Hi everyone. I bought my first bike on saturaday. Its a 1996 fzr 600r (foxeye) which i bought private. I absolutely love it by the way! Its got fsh, 20k miles, recently serviced, 2 new tyres, new brakes new stainless downpipes, great condition for its age and it only cost me a grand! Its pretty much perfect except for one thing thats bugging me. The pillion seat on it doesn`t seem to fit down properly. It is as if it is missing some fixings at front of the seat. I slide the front of the seat in first then push the back down and it clicks and locks in but there is nothing to slide the front part of the seat into so when it locks into place the front part of the seat kin…

Hi guys, Im after some more valuble advice from you guys out there. I have a Fazer 600 s late 2008 model, its been run in, nearly 3500 miles already, but now i seem to be getting a lot of vibration through the seat when i hit between 57 mph and 66 mph. After, and before these speeds no vibration at all, very comfortale riding. The vibration is coming up through the seat area, very nice if your a woman im sure, but not for me. Any ideas out there on what it can be? Ideas that have already been thrown into the pot are, jets may need cleaning, adjusting of jets, injector blocked, injector needs cleaning. Im not mechanical minded on these things but would l…

I've got a YBA 125 Enticer,, the engine rattles and i cant find out what it is, the cam chain is fine. Anyway i've been looking for another engine and have come across a site that says the YBR 125 engine is the same as the one used in my bike,, is this true??. If so, are the mounts in the same place?? and how much can i get one for. Mine is an 03 so would i have to go for one that is nearer my bikes age or will they all fit. Cheers Terry

Did any1 go to the Bikesafe event in Blackpool on Sunday?... I managed to get some nice saddle bags, there were some beautiful bikes there!... Some of which, look as though they must only come out of the "temperature controlled garage" for these shows... Absolutely mint!.. I might get slapped for saying this but there was this awesome honda shadow!.. absolutely gorgeous!.. I tried my luck on the guess the 6 digit code for the harley rocket.. (1 in a million chance).. but nope, I was destined not to win it.. :-(

Hello again Project FZR 400 now has a rolling chassis. Red powder coated frame and wheels with Battlax tyres, black powder coated fork stantions, polished braced swinging arm. I'm dropping the engine in at the weekend. Does any body run the FZR 400 without a fairing? What headlamp? Can I get rid of the indicators I don't want a street-fighter look, more muscle-bike. Any suggestions would be grateful. Thanks Nigel
