Right i know this is prob going to sound a bit nuts and its nothing to do with dewpy, this is serious, true. I was driving along the A47 today past Desford (Licestershire) when i saw what looked like and i was sober, a SR125 that had been EXTENSIVELY modded to take some sort of old V4 pre unit lump, and i mean old like exposed pushrods and such. It was an inline vertical 45degree V layout, also for some reason a hard tail????? with a sprung seat and was toodling along in his own sweet time at about 40mph. It had MRA on the black tank and had C120MRA as the reg, anybody got any ideas, he was heading into Licester with what looked like his work bag on his shoulder…

Hi just to advise I advertised my Fazer 600 abs model last week. This has now been sold elsewhere. Checkout other items from this bike I have forsale. Yamaha genuine accessories, Topbox Fazer mounting brackets, and a 45Ltr Gavi topbox, this box is a MonoLock system box ??I think, there are two type this is the cheaper one. Both items in excellent condition, they were only fitted in July 07. The brackets cost £140 new and the box was £60. No sensible offer refused but bear in mind this item will also be listed on e-bay. Items are located on Wirral Merseyside. If you e-mail about items I will give you a contact number to call. Lew

Hi, can anyone tell me how to reset the display on my '05 reg. XT125X. It was serviced around 200 miles ago by a local independent workshop who are not able to reset the display. I don't really want to have to take it to a main dealer as that will probably cost a small arm and leg. I would appreciate any help/advice on this. Thanks John

Hiya peeps Just thought I would say hello as it seemed rude not to Anyway, I have filled in my 'about me' page so I am not going to bother writing it all out again. I have been a Yamaha nut ever since I was old enough to reach the bike mags on the shelf. The first bike I saw in a magazine was the newly released Yamaha FZ750 and I have been hooked ever since My first ever bike was a Yamaha FZR400RR at 14. Purely car park and industrial estate riding, I never managed to fully appreciate the bike I bought a brand new R1 in 1998 (certified as number 137 off the production line), but I was only ever a passenger I'…

My forum name is golfdub as i've been into mk2 golf's for a while now ( hey you need a car when its snowing you cant ride a bike) but ive owned a few bikes in the past and at the moment i have a 89 fzr 1000 exup thats my favorite toy !!!!! The exup was a shed when i bought it so after 6mths of part finding, rebuilding, cleaning, restoring and lots of alloy polishing it now looks fantastic. I run a small family metal polishing business thats been going about 10yrs. I mainly do motorcycle parts wheels , frames, engine cases, swin…

Little Johnny's at it again...... A new teacher was trying to make use of her psychology courses.. She started her class by saying, 'Everyone who thinks they're stupid, stand up!' After a few seconds, Little Johnny stood up. The teacher said, 'Do you think you're stupid, Little Johnny?' 'No, ma'am, but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself!' * * * * * * * * * * * Little Johnny watched, fascinated, as his mother smoothed cold cream on her face. 'Why do you do that, mommy?' he asked. 'To make myself beautiful,' said his mother, who then began removing the cream with a tissue. 'What's the matter?' asked Little Johnny. 'Giving up?' * * * * * * * * * * *…

Hey guys n gals, Just got my first moto :-) A Second hand Yamaha Enticer, don't know anyone else thats got one in UK. Was wondering if anyone had any feedback on this bike. I've read some stuff, but all from India. Guess thats fine since the bike was aimed at the Indian market. I'm soon to be doing my CBT and my bike knowledge is retty limited, so need some reassurance that this was a good choice for my first moto :-) ?? cheers MIG

Hi Everyone! First - Happy new year to everyone! Thanks for all the help i received in 2008, all greatly appreciated. I'm keen to expand my knowledge about the different variations of my bike (3HE FZR600) and indeed the Yamaha range, cos I love my bike to bits! I've been tryin to find bits for my bike and am intrigued by the differences. Don't wanna just ride the bike, wanna learn bit more about it, was wondering if anyone can recommend good sources of info ? Thanks, look forward to any responses. Vic.

Hey folks, new to the site, probably will not be a very active poster as such, I just had a few bits and pieces lying in the garage and thought it best to come and offer to the genuine enthusiast rather than Ebay and the sorts! I have a TZ350A, TZ 350 Spondon and various other old British clunkers lying around!

Men Read and learn It is important for men to remember that, as women grow older, it becomes harder for them to maintain the same quality of housekeeping as when they were younger. When you notice this, try not to shout at them. Some are over-sensitive and there's nothing worse than an over-sensitive woman. My name is Ron. Let me relate how I handled the situation with my wife, Julie. When I took early retirement last year, it became necessary for Julie to get a full-time job for the extra income that we need. Shortly after she started working, I noticed she was beginning to show her age. I now usually get home from the pub about the same time she gets home from …
