Hey everyone. It turns out the DT125 I bought is actually a DT50. I am hoping to get at least a 60cc big bore kit as have noit didn't come with a top end right now. I can only find them in the uk or europe and cannot find anyone willing to ship one to me in Canada. Does anyone know where I can get a big bore kit for my 86 DT50 in North America. It has to have the threaded exhaust attachment on the front of the engine to fit the pipe i have (factory, but mint shape). I figure since i have to buy a cylinder and head anyway might as well add a little juice to the old girl any help would be really appreciated. thanks jason

i have just started to get clutch slip when the bike hits the powerband. the engine is on 34500 miles. so im guessing new friction plates and springs. are the EBC rebuild kits on Ebay good to use or should i go to for oem? not near a Yamaha deal which is annoying.

hey everyone, Have not been online for a while been busy at work & trying to get the bike clean in areas that have been left to build up a mass amount of grease... anyway after spending what seems like an eternity wiping excess grease/chain lube from around the chain runner/front sprocket/all areas near there with a tooth brush (not my current morning use brush) & some gunk, I took a step back admired what was now looking clean & with it being a warm sunday got it out for a quick blast. got back and had another look at the front of the engine just behind the exhaust & OH MY DAYS! looks like it has got all 11,000 miles of dirt...grit & crap off …

5.30am GMT - no one logged in  I was up, beer goggles on but wearing off, big headache and had the motoGP on. Yamaha has a world champion !!! Rossi wins and secures the title for a 4th time. I really didn't think he woul do it this year, I figured the Yamaha steed really needed more time and development before it was a world beater. Good solid stuff !

cant seem to find front foot pegs + center stand. i noticed my center stand was more of a side stand.. Then i noticed if i was to do something drastic like ohh.. use the back break. the foot peg moves... so im trying to figure out where i would get atleast the little frame that has the footpegs I really need to jet wash the whole underside of the frame so i can see whats wrong. "could just need bolting on properly i guess" But if i do need to replace it. i have no idea where to get one. Or if i can use one from a diferent model yamaha. also not to sure about welding it back together if its snaped as i dont know what the MOT people would say

This year I will pass my big bike test and I like the look of the bandit 600 but I also like the look of the MT-01 and MY-03 but the passenger seat even I couldn't get my skinny arse on on the MY-01 but that's the look I'm looking for if you get what I'm sweaying as I would rather have a big bike restricted then have a small bike trying to pull two people up and down the hills to get to my house are there any bikes with the same look that you could recommend with similar looks ( hopefully a yamaha as the one I have is pretty bomb proof ). Thanks Paul

I have realised I need some boots, but underestimated how expensive they are. Also all the the different types that are available. Initially I thought about some motocross style ones to match my bike and other gear, then I thought I need something more practical, so i thought about some normal Caterpillar/Timberland styler boots. I don't know what sort but I need some, I'm going to have to spend at least £100 to get a decent pair. Any advice/recommendations?
