I'm not sure what the weather is like in your part of the world, but I think the end of this part of the world is almost here.... so far yesterday ; Keswick was cut off, apart from the Penrith approach. The reality of this is that West Cumbria is only acessable from the south! Sellafield Nuclear site has sent non-escential staff home as a result of torrential rainfall and high winds, We had 15 servere flood warnings in place for north cumbria, 14 Flood Watches, Carlisle public park (a big field thing in the middle of town) was under water, as was the Golf course (no loss there then) an may outlying fields, Keswick was only dry as a result of …

A beautiful fairy appeared one day to an immigrant claimant outside the Social Security Offices. 'My good man,' the fairy said, 'I've been told to grant you three wishes, since you’ve just arrived in England with your wife and seven children.' The man told the fairy: 'Well, in Pakistan where I come from we don't have good teeth, so I want new teeth, maybe a lot of gold in them.' The fairy looked at the man's almost toothless grin and --PING!!! He had a brand new shining set of gold teeth in his mouth! 'What else?' asked the fairy, 'two, more wishes, to go'. The refugee claimant now got bolder. 'I need a big house with a three car garage in Birm…

Here is a question that is again a bit noob, but something that you may like to indulge in a little. What do you do on a weekly / monthly basis in terms of maintenance / checks and cleaning?

Out on my Cat last night ( lovely sunny evening)..I've had it for 2 months now and am gradually feeling more confident. Anyway going quite fast round twisty country roads here in North Devon, I found that a couple of times when going too fast into a corner ( judged it wrong --let's be honest ) trying to lean over more and grabbing a large handful of front brake, the bike suddenly tried to go straight on, and tried to come upright. I was really lucky on a left hand hairpin (VERY tight), when I realised I was too hot into it, braked hard, and the bike stopped turning and carried straight on over to the outside lane....if anything was coming the other way I'd be "daid a…

Live in Hereford and the proud owner of a 650 Dragstar custom. As mentioned very new only passed test three months ago and havent rode it much mainly due to weather but do get out when I can to build up confidence. Kev
