Hi, new member here. Also posted this in the workshop section, but maybe more appropriate here. Anyhooo... My current project is very much Yamaha related, although it's a special. It all started with a YPVS350LC engine that has been slightly tuned. Had it sitting around for a while and finally decided to find a new home for it. To make a long story short, I decided to put it into a TZR-250 3MA frame, which it went into without too much fuss. The search for more modern bodywork lead me to the YZF-R125 as it it both modern and slim. Again, with a bit of fitting work it went on pretty easily. There is still loads to do and you can see the progress here: Build blog …

Names Mark new to this forum, so firstly i would like to say hello to you all I own a 2004 TZR50 about 50 on the flat depending on the wind direction, fastest is 64 down hill still takes forever to pick up off lights and often bogs down. ive turned up the air mixture screw abit which helps reduce bog but still isnt very responsive. i dont want to change sprockets as this would lose my top end slightly. i was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap ways to make me go faster. I was thinking new reeds and air filter changes... thanks for reading (Y)

Can't believe there's such a severe limit on noise at Castle Coombe, a stock RGV got booted off the other day for being too noisey - what's that all about. Seems that noise is a big issue at a lot of circuits, does anyone know if Thruxton is.. a. Any good ? b. Has noise limits ? c. Cheap to hire ? J

Hi all, Appologies for all the non UK members but this applies to UK numbers only (I think) Very soon your private mobile number may be included on a directory. This is a premium 118*** type number and seems similar to the old BT telephone directory. If you want to remove your number you need to do this very quickly. To not be included you need to click on the ex directory link at the top of the follow link page and then put in your mobile number and an anti spam code shown on screen. They then text you a 5 digit code and you enter the code on the page. The link is Here This is not a joke and for reference click the following link for information on the BBC w…

I fear the pilot screws (mixture screws) will need resetting. I can find no info in the workshop manual on how to do a basic set even .any help appreciated.
