HI I WANT TO PUT A 4 INTO 1 EXHAUST ON A XJ900F 1994 I WOULD LIKE SOMTHING A BIT LOUDER THEN STOCK AND WITH A NICE NOTE ANY INFO WOULD BE REALLY HELPFUL I LIVE IN FRANCE AND PARIS ISNT REALLY THE SAFEST PLACE TO DRIVE WHEN YOU HAVE A QUITE BIKE IV SEEN THAT MARVIN MAKES A RACING EXHAUST THAT LOOKS NICE ANY ONE HAVE ANY INFO? IV SEEN REPLACMENT FROM OTHER MAKERS BUT THEY ARE STOCK CHEERS

hi all, wonder if anyone can help, purchaseda 2001 yamaha R1 about 3 weeks ago now, am having the belly pan etc sprayed this weekend and have found an old alarm which was hiden under the seat panels, as i dont have the remote for the alarm i thought why not take it off, less weight an all that,he he but i think it has been wired in prof as most of the wires from the alarm go back through the main wiring loom, dont suppose anyone lives near peterborough and fancies showing me how to remove the alarm completly. sure there will be a few teas or beers in it for them, maybe even a choc bisc if your lucky.he he No seriously, would be great if anyone could help, will pay…

Hi you lot, up until last weekend I had an excellent 89' wr 400 road registered r112... very sadly it was lifted from my yard in Devon. it's blue/white with nobblies, black seat, hydraulic clutch, yellow rear panel stickers YZM stickers on tank panels. please anyone being offered my bike please let me know :(

hi there all,does any yamaha owner know where i can lay my hands on an ignition switch with keys for a 1990 XZR400 IWG it has to have three cable connectors one red one white and one green with two leads in each, all the ones i have found so far only have two connecting leads but the one i have on there at the moment has three i need to replace it because somewhere in its past life the ignition key seemed to have been a screwdriver ,or anything with a flat end, so its easy to start and ride off with. not good.. anyone out there got any ideas?

Hi, I am looking for some advice on a problem with my motorbike.... it has never run correctly and the problem has gone from bad to worse! I bought a 1995 FZR600 a year ago and on the first outing it had a spluttering issue at about 7000 rpm. If you keep the power in it broke through it and then carried on revving okish. I contacted the guy I bought it from and he said "the bike has been sitting for a while so old fuel and/or blockage in the carbs could be the problem". Anyway I lived with the problem for a few hundred miles until one day it went from 4 cylinders to 2 and I crawled to my local bike mechanic. Did another track day a couple of weeks ago Snetterton 300 a fantastic track,The XJ is so much fun .Fitted a tail tidy,front fender extender and some LED incators. Also a set of roller adjust levers.

Hello people, i'v e got a 05 DTX. I've heard people talk about the power valve where the exhaust meets the barrel. What do you do to it? And will that work on my 05? Not really sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Just acquired a 1994 FZR600R in what I think is referred to as Cocktail white. The top of the tank is purple and then there is a grean stripe and then pearl white. There are a couple of scratches on the purple bit of the tank. Any idea where I can get touch up paint from at a sensible price as trying to clean this up on a low budget!! Cheers all

Hi guys, just purchased a really great xvs1300 2007 model with all the bells and whistles. Ive noticed while riding that during gear changes (more so up shifting) that the blue high beam light pops on for a split second during the gear change. At night i see the lights flash high beam during the gear changes. I assume this is not normal for this bike. It has the extra spotties next to the headlight. Im thinking someone wired this up wrong even though it all works fine. Any ideas ?? Angelo

Rebuilding my 1978 Yamaha xs400 and was wondering if it would be possible to add an electric starter to it as it only had a kickstarter to begin with. If so where would i be able to mount it?
