I need to know if there is anyone that can help me. I own a 1986 yamaha radian 600 I just bought a 1990 yamaha radian 600. My question is can I swap motors from the 1990 to the 1986 if so what possibly will be the difference between the two if any. I already know that the wiring is different. But what else is different if any.

Hi, i'm looking to buy a new Yamaha Aerox R and after reading the specifications page i noticed i didnt understand some of the words used. Hi Can anyone tell me where the paint codes for my Japanese import TRX are hidden? I'm after the correct white that is on the frame and wheels. Other manufacturers put them on a sticker under the seat somewhere, I've had a good look and there is no trace of that sort of tag being on the bike anywhere. Thanks Bruce

Well.... I think Im going to paint my DT-r 50 SM in the near future..... is it just the same technique as painting a car bodykit? ie sand....sand and sand again ( obviously gradual between coats up to a 2000 grit..... filler plastic primer, sand sand sand, colour coat.....sand, laquer? I realise its a vague and poor description but is that how you paint the plastics? Also do you need a booth or can you get away with a wind free warm garage? ( space heater ) After I have done all the fairings I think I might strip her down completely and spray the frame as well - she`s looking a little scabby by the foot pegs! Early Hours of Monday morning my 59 Plate WR 125X was stolen from Swindon, SN5 post code. Its white and Black, and totally standard bar a small rear plate. Reg is HY59 YUB Believe it was lifted using a van or similar, as was taken quetly from outside the house near an open bedroom window. The Bike is datatagged, so if you are offered parts please be vigilant. It probably being ranted across a field by some pikey scum now, but should you see anything please let me know. I brought a j reg yamha dt125r For 550. It was in good condtion cosmeticly with a dep exahust sytem. 30miles after riding it, it just cut out Took the head off and was told to replace the piston but it wasn't seized. I was also told to get it running and sell or rebuild the engine because soon it would need a new big end baring. I left the bike dry stored for a week and now the conrod wont move up and down and part of the crank ( the big cricle things beside the conrod have flat spots on them and feel slightly bumpy. My question is what is wrong with my bike. Should I fix it or sell it as a non-runner (I can get the engine spilt ext without taking it to a garridge). How m…

Hey all, I'm new here and lookng for some help. i have an 88 fz 600 (not fzr, just fz, no genesis head etc) I bought it last september in pieces from a guys garage who couldn't get it back together. yesterday I finally had it started up and revving well, the problem is in neutral it started and revved, (it's on a swing arm stand) but when i clicked it into first to test the tranny, the back wheel started spinning, clutch pulled in and all. I have other old bikes that do this too so i stuck my foot on the tire to stop it, but it wouldnt stop so i can only think that the clutch was engaged, so i id what i could to shorten the cable and even manually held the sprin…

hey guys im being offered a 1987 Yamaha FZ 600 Motorcycle with 12k miles for $700 bucks, it has been dropped needs a new battery and a new front break handle, probably some new paint job done to it also. would you say it is worth the money? Thank you, any ideas/help would be great.
