i am currently restoring this bike and would like to add a few performance parts, aftermarket header, aggressive cams, etc. i am having difficulty tracking down any parts for this bike and any help would be very much appreciated. in it's stock form the bike ran 11.70's and would love to get it down to a low 11 or possibly a high 10. thanks.

Ok so some of you guys know that I own a xs400 and I bought new tires for it. I was trying to find the lowest price and shopped around. Certain places asked 30 for each tire balance and mounting and installing bearings bushings etc in the wheel would cost me 60 per tire and plus the rear bearings would cost me 190 not including tax. Berts megmall beat that by 10 dollars. Now I sent the wheels at 01/07/2010 since I have seen my wheels and its going to cost me 210 dollar total because the front took them a lot "more time than expected" which amounted of 90 dollars. Two usual causes Warren 1 is the bike fitted with a regulator? check connections to this and that it has a clean earth fixing 2 is the battery fitted, topped up and in good condition? Thats about it ...Paul
