Hi all just got my first bike and was looking forward to a days riding. Only one probelem, got to dealers this morning only to find the tax disc hadn't arrive from their other place. They told me its will be OK to ride as if you get stopped the Police can see on their ANPR syetem that the bike's insured and taxed and tell them it's in the post to my house. Just got home to find its not here either, so question is can I ride without the disc on display? Thanks Colin

hi guys, thought I'd just share this with you, it made me chuckle initially! Over a year ago I declared SORN on my DT as I hadn't used it for a while , the tax was due and I was having a bit of trouble getting it MOT'd as the guys were claiming they wouldn't MOT it on the rear tyre as it had "IN USA & CANADA- NOT FOR ROAD USE". stamped on it. Even though they had been successfuly passing it with the same rear tyre for the past several years! I tried to fight my corner saying we're not in the USA where the statement applies! this is the UK but he said he wouldn't pass it if I was to put it in for an MOT. He said he was trying to save me the fail and all i had t…

does anyone know where i can get my hands on the roadhouse 4" slip-on? I have had it ordered for a little over a month. I guess they are way behind. After going to youtube and listening to different pipes on the 1300, roadhouse sounds to me worth waiting for. Type in vstar 1300 and you can hear the new vance and hines and the roadhouse. I think the roadhouse looks better too!

I have a 2000 Roadstar and no matter what I do, my seat will not release. When I get the key in the correct position, nothing happens. It used to pop up a bit but nothing seems to do it now. Anyone ever had to deal with this problem? Any suggestions on how to get if working or at least get it off. Gotta check the oil. Thanks Gang, Theflagg

Took the dt 175 to quarry to scrub land for a quick do. The danm thing stopped. Its normally ok. I had a new plug, but nothing, just a tantalizing little rev and then nothing. I had to push it back, a steep hill which I had to tack up for a long way. It nearly put my lights out, so I quickly bought a long-overdue trailer. Got one of those that break down in mins to go in the car, can be single or double, very good. Anyway, I gets around to looking at the job. Firstly, sometimes spark then not. So whipped the flywheel off. The points were deep pitted. I trimmed em back to shape with a diamond file, getting then even, but still the same. I soldered on a new condenser. The s…

Greetings from the Cape Fear, A question for you good folks. When rolling on the accelerator, the rpms make a jump from idle to idle plus a bit more than I want. I can't seem to ramp up. Is this a characteristic of fuel injection or electronic ignition? Is something out of adjustment? TIA, Bill

Febvre, a former European Champion, has developed through three years in the FIM Motocross World Championship to emerge as a Grand Prix winner in 2014 and finish third in the MX2 standings; the highest classified athlete from a group who graduate to MXGP next season and the very top international stage. The former supermoto racer – he also won the prestigious Mettet Superbiker event two weeks ago - took his first GP podiums in 2013 and made fantastic progress in 2014 to embellish his reputation as one of the FIM series’ brightest young prospects. The 22 year old Frenchman is expected to form a promising bond with the YZ450FM that already shone in Van Horebeek’s hands …

Courtesy of MotoGP.com MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi had the opportunity to display his sheer speed on four-wheels in last weekend’s Monza Rally Show in Italy, as he teamed-up with Carlo Cassina to compete on a Subaru Impreza WRC prepared by Prodrive. The Doctor took second overall in the main event, as he was beaten by just 5.6s by Italian veteran Dindo Capello, but he shone in the final showdown which saw the drivers going head-to-head on a 1,500m gymkhana set in the main straight of the Monza circuit. Valentino Rossi has successively beaten Felice Re and Rinaldo Capello to qualify for the finale, which saw him face former WRC Champion Colin McRae…

Rossi was up for the challenge of repeating his strong ride of two weeks ago. He needed little time to get back into the swing of things and was quick to take over the top spot from his teammate at the start of the eight-hour long session. As the temperature started rising the pace of the field picked up, but the Doctor was quick to respond and cruised back to the top the leader board with an impressive 2’00.414s lap, which kept him sitting on top for the rest of the session. Teammate Lorenzo had a more challenging start to the second Sepang test. Though he briefly topped the leaderboard with a 2’02.099s lap, he struggled to find the good setup for the slippery asphalt…

Ok , he might have only finnished 2nd. But that was enough to get him his 5th straight top flight title! Who will be able to stop him before he leaves? IF he can be beaten. What a great race tho. Ducati and Loris Capirossi are strong at the mo can they make it 3 on the bounce at Qatar?

...Stay away from 4-Wheels these days! When an opportunity to experience speed presents itself to Valentino Rossi, the Italian isn´t one to waste it. Last Friday, after returning from Yamaha´s Qatar Test, he spent the day driving a Maserati MC12, a car which last season took part in the Italian Touring Car Championship. At the request of Rossi, there is no footage from the session at Misano. However it is evident that the MotoGP star once again showed his adaptability, having previously turned his hand to WRC and Formula 1. Back on two wheels this week, Rossi will continue with the preseason alongside the rest of the MotoGP teams in Malaysia. Money…

Hi folks. Firstly, what does everyone think of the new Rossi replica? I currently use an AGV Ti-Tech helmet. its quite comfy, little bit of wind noise but not a big problem. BUT, i'm thinking of buying one of these new Sword replica lids. Its based on a K3 helmet from lower in the AGV range (going by the price), so wondering would i be better to stick with what I have?
