can any body tell me the diference between an rd 350lc and an 350ypvs cheers, born again dont know a great deal about the ypvs.

Hi Guys,I"m trying to trace a bike i used to own way back in 1976,it was an rd400 MUX853P,SOLD IN TELFORD SHROPSHIRE.Checked on dvla site it is alive and taxed,can"t believe it.According to them it is now black in colour,if anyone knows of this bikes whereabouts or any info about it please let me know,Cheers STEVE

I need to fine tune my carbs on 1976 RD 400D. When I accelerate mid throttle the bike splutters a little before picking up speed. I think the carbs need adjusting. Any ideas, suggestions or info will be great. Cheers, Sean.

Hi all im a new member looking for some advise. Ive been looking at my mates rd500 which has a week spark on the bottom cylinders . She runs only on the top 2 i have swapped the coils around they both seem fine . can anybody shed any light were to go next . ive also tested the wiring between the charging coils and the cdi unit which apears fine ??? help

Hi all i am after a rd500lc ihave looked at several and body wise they needed alot of work,finding good panels seems to be big problem so i have steered away from ones needing plastics,ive seen one with fibreglass panels but syed away as i thought it could be a problem to sell on one day,am i right?.has anyone got some good sound advice on what to look out for regading mechanicals,i have an ear for piston slap and grumbly bottom ends,but am not sure just how much smoke should be omitted which is deemed acceptable.also apart from the obvious colour schem diffence and engine restiction difference between uk bikes and imports is there anything else i should be looking for? …

Hi First of all hello to all I'm new on here and from Dublin Ireland. I do not own a Yamaha at the moment but have owned many in the past and am looking to get a Yam 2 stroke. In the past I have come accross a number of RGV 250's with RG 500 engines fitted. Then I thought why not put an RD500 engine into a TZR. Has anyone ever done this?? What do you think?? Regards Brian

Only reason I ask is that it was my first bike. Was a white one, usual gold wheels and had an Autisa 65cc kit. Was taxed up until march this year. Got fond memories of my first taste of proper freedom. Last time i saw it was when I traded it in at a dealership in Maidstone, Kent for an RD125LC back in 1989, christ, now i feel old . hi all, hope this is the place for this question,i have jebring pipes on my 1982 rd350lc one of the springs has snapped on the spanny pipe s, were can i purchase a new set from ,im in the bolton area so i would not want to travel to scotland as its a bit out of my way.anywere local would be appreciated, ta very much for reading my post kev

the search on this forum is shit. a gay, guy up north is selling an old ish, moped. it's been in't garage un sorn but often used for many years. he got it off a mate who it is registered too about two/three years ago. it has a reg plate matching the frame/engine ect. but he doesn't have the paper work, iff i buy it, what do i need to do to put it on the road. ps save your wit for something better...

I've just recently reapplied ACF-50 to my bike and have decided to clean it every Sunday. After I have washed my bike do I need to reapply ACF-50 again, or after every time I wash it? Cheers

Hi all. As I'm new to biking (had my licence since June 2013) the first set of jacket and trousers I bought were textile ones. I'm looking in to buying a leather jacket and trouser set and wondered if anybody has heard of the brand, and if so what are your thoughts? Thought I'd ask as it's a lot of money to spend (500 pound for the set I'm looking at!!). Any advice would be gratefully received.

The Strom has been despatched to the Breakers Yard....and I brought this home today... 2004 TDM900 1200 miles as new! OK....here's the info: Left the house at 10am and got to Swindon just before 1pm. 45 miles of B Roads, then 80 miles of Motorway. My grey/ginger head got a right battering on the way up....particularly over the Severn Bridge! So I got to Swindon, had a coffee, did the biz, and left at 2pm. What's the TDM like? Well I saw it first being serviced on the ramp and they'd taken the plate off cos it had another dealer's name on it. And I thought it was a brand new one, not the used one that I'd bought! It had done 1200 miles …

Right, lets not beat about the bush, Im a FZS Fazer 600 rider, ive been riding 4 years and today i took mine up to whitby. Comming back i hit a patch off Diesel and next thing i know im on my backside on the road thinking shit this isnt good. I picked myself up and thankfully the man comming the opposite way in the lorry stopped and so did the man in a Shogun so thankyou to them. They helped me pick my bike up move it to the side of the road. Then some dick walks towards me and tells the lorry driver hes going to have to move because hes causing caos (CHEERS MATE). Anyway me then thinking right i have Roadside recovery from AA, and ill not refraim from naming and shaming …
