Hello everyone, another question again from here in belgium... I found these nice slash cut end pieces for the stock exhaust on the dragstar 650. https://www.polo-motorrad.de/de/k-02-endstuck-slashcut-rechts.html. Now my question is, how does these attach, and does that mean the end damper of the stock exhaust has to be removed? I want besides the looks a bit bigger sound, but not too loud. first idea was to drill few holes through the end plate, as i read here has a good effect. But with these slash cut's, does it mean the end plate ot the stock exhaust has to go? Anybody experience with this? thanks a lot Peter

So, there's this yellow toad wandering around in the forest kinda pissed off because he doesn't want to be yellow. Life would be easier if he were brown like the other toads... He'd sure be less visible to predators for one thing. Anyway... This yellow toad bumps into a fairy godmother. "Fairy godmother, please make me brown like the other toads," begs her. "I'm hacked off being so visible to predators. The stress is like, killing me, you know?" "Okay" says the fairy godmother, who whips out her magic wand and goes: "Abracapokus! You're brown!" The toad looks down and sees that he is brown ! Except..... for his todger, which is still yellow. "Hang about la…

I am glad that I found this site. I purchased my 2009 VStar 1300 Tourer on 3 July 2010 after completing the H-D "Basic Rider's Course" with less than a mile on the odometer. It now has 1562 miles on its odometer. I did not ride one week end and have not ridden since 8 August 2010 because of surgery to repair a torn triceps tendon. I can proudly say that my VStar 1300 is awesome! Take care, Chris Stevens http://www.facebook.com/?sk=messages#!/photo.php?pid=693009&id=1681912380&ref=fbx_album

this bloke was in the pub and he had a shiner. His mates asked how he got it, this is his story..... Me and the wife are shopping in the local Asda I pick up a case of Beer and puts it in the trolley. 'What do you think you're doing?' asks the wife. I said'They're on sale, only £10 for 24 cans. she say's, 'Put them back, we can't afford them , and so they carry on shopping. A few aisles further on along the wife picks up a £20 jar of face cream and puts it in the trolley. I said, "What do you think you're doing?" 'Its my face cream. It makes me look beautiful,' replies the wife. 'So does 24 cans of Beer and it's half the price. And that's wh…

New to the Yamaha Owners Club although I have owned a Yamaha for over 10 years. 1980 Yamaha DT175 Enduro. Bought the bike from my brother-in-law for $300. It had a badly bent rear rim, bent levers, worn chain, worn tires, worn grips and boots, but it ran somewhat. Wheel Works in Garden Grove, CA fixed the bent rim and set me up with some DOT Pirelli knobbies Was able to replace most everything else with parts from Chaparral motorsports. A good friend of mine Angel Pena, cleaned out the carb and replaced the head and base gaskets. Next up is new crank seals and bike should be good for some desert trail riding. It is completely street legal with current CA…

Evening, chaps. Sorry it's been a while...I have been popping in and reading what you've all been up to. Couldn't make The Squires for reasons I'll go into in a minute, but the video and the pics look brilliant. A good time seems to have been had by all... Anyways...couldn't get to my MOT on the Friday evening as I had to work, so booked it in for 9am on Saturday. Got up really early and was going to take it for a long ride first. Obviously I really WAS on my way to the testing station, officer...but the fecker wouldn't start. It was turning over nicely but just wouldn't catch or fire up at all. Got my crosser/mechanic neighbour to have a look and we decided to chan…

Hi all. Newbie here. I am restoring my 1974 TY250 (I bought it new) I would like to swap out the standard 428H chain and sprockets for a 520 size. Is this a common modification? How do I go about this? If I don't do this mod is there a source for standard sprockets? I am thinking of close to original gearing of 14/52. Thanks for any advice. I am located in Melbourne Australia.

Just thought i would say hi, had bikes all my life since the age of 13 now im 46 and still mad over them. Like the old stuff but my newest bike is an XT660R but my favourite is my 1978 xt500e which i have fully rebuilt. I also a member of both the XT forums and frequent them every night. Too many bikes to list and i dont like to brag but i do have a few bikes. Looking forward to chatting on the forum but i will more that likely frequent the classic section ad off road.
