Watched my lad win his 4th straight basketball game today.....his team is undefeated so far this season ......told him we should go for a ride to celebrate.......so we washed the UAV & headed for the Clackamas river.... Where I was amazed how fast the river was flowing & how much the water level had come up since I was here a coupla weeks ago ... That boat ramp was over twice as long last time I was here Such a nice day out.....had to get a shot or 2 of the mountain .... I'm sooooo looking forward to my RideOut to central Oregeon in 2 months! We then rode back home & I went over to a mate's apartment to give a hand…

Recently bought my first motorcycle, a 2011 yamaha ybr 125. I rode it a bit at the dealership and everything seemed okay; I have since taken it from london to durham on the back of a trailer (unfortunately I left it in neutral which I have been told isn't ideal). It has since developed an issue with the gearbox where sometimes (not everytime) it won't go from neutral into first gear. This is obviously rather dangerous as I can't pull away at junctions and am sometimes left stuck. If anyone knows anything about what might be causing this behaviour please let me know. Thanks.

Well here is the local plod on his Yamaha SR150, which i never even knew existed. Anyway i still havent been able to get a photo of one of them strange trike/van! Oh yeah and of course had to send you a pic of my last meal! Not only did it contain OPIUM and MSG! It also was served with alive fish in the hotpot, a still breathing half skinned frog x2 alongside, duck intestines and ox stomach. THIS is beyond a doubt worse than the Dog or Snake!!! Sorry about the size of the pics, i cant get any smaller with my cam. Hopefully one of the lovely mods may even reduce it for you pikey 56k'ers 8)

  5. {{if $formValue}} {$value} {{endif}} Like a disgruntled polar bear, I returned home from a ride yesterday, my fingers numbed from the icy wind. That’s when these saviours clad in dust and spiderwebs caught my attention. I set about installing them on my loyal steed, the MT09, faster than you can say "frostbite". Now, I had been told that the Whites grips were akin to holding on to the molten core of the Earth itself. "Nonsense," I scoffed. Imagine my surprise when they turned out to be as warm as a hearty handshake from a Yeti. No clunky control box in sight, either! And let's not forget the built-in off switch for low battery situations, which I thought was a n…

Hi all I'm new here, got back on 2 wheels a few months ago (after about 25 years). I have a YBR 125 on a provisional licence. I find it's a great little bike but a little lacking on hills. and living in north Wales there's plenty of them. so I was thinking about doing my bike test and getting something a bit bigger. is there any real difference in the bike test on a 125cc or a 500cc, apart form the 2 year 33bhp restriction. or to put it another way is it worth just doing the full test strait off? is the 125 test easier or cheaper to do?

Spent the last 3 days pulling the DT to bits playing hide and seek with the spark and it was the bloody cap. A brand new bastard that i bought "to make sure" mutter, grumble, i've set the timing, swapped coils, plugs, been into my loom to be sure of connections. "Caps either work or they don't" Ha, famous last words

so i finished my yamaha dt125lc2 project back in march, and all is good, but in may i noticed my bulbs kept blowing after a little detective work i cam up trumps, as it ws the summer months it never really bothered me and the problem slipped to the back of my mind, but now the summer months have come to an ebrupt end, i think now the problem needs to be sorted once and for all ,, i stripped my plastics to view my battery, and noticed the earth had come loose and disconnectedm itself. after amending tht problem, i went for a spin up the road and all was well till i opened her up and again like many times before my bulbs blew, first the normal beam then the highbeam,,i…

Hi all, I have a 96 Thunderace with a fairing that's a bit tatty. Are the fairings off Ebay any good? I figured if I repaired the one I have I'd have to get it sprayed anyway so wondered if anyone here had bought one and how it fitted / quality...? I have come across some with poor reviews and some with good. Is it just pot luck???

  20. To say i am majorly pissed is an understatement. just been to move project FUCR from the long term car park to the works car park where i can work on it, only to find some theiving f*cking scrote has had away with my ace bars (including the top yoke!) and the dual headlight unit (bought for £60, never even been used). this is really starting to boil my piss. Not only this, about 4 weeks ago i happened to be driving past the caravan park at the end of the runway, and noticed that the rear lights on my caravan (i was pissed on ebay, its another project) have been stolen, the front locker prised open and the gas bottle nicked along with the electronics panel that was…
