  1. Started by Ogri,

Just caled in to say Hi to anyone who remembers Ogri from the Wirral back in the 70s/80s. After sporning a couple of sproggs I'm sort of back!? Suddenly realized I never passed my full ticket so I had to take a CBT on a 50cc step through of all things. Can you imagine me 19 stone of relaxed muscle on a bog seat in my old 70's cross over leather? Any way managed to get hold of a 125 drag star so that it didn't look too small under me, every thing else looked like I had a roller skate stuck to my arse. So If you see a red drag star with a big bloke in an old 70's leather buzzin' around the Wirral area, It's Ogri. Nod or even pull me over and say allo. Whilst I'm at i…

Just got the FJ put back together and though now would be a good time to see if it ran ok, check the oil - ok check timing marks are right - ok check it has fuel - ok, general look round it to make sure everything was in the right place and hit the starter button, fired right up BIG SMILE yippee it lives, but hang on what's that strange hissing noise? Look down and I am up to my ankles in oil a LARGE puddle I might add, WHAT THE F**K is that? Do you think you can find the off switch when your mind has gone into overload !! How do I turn this thing off? Finally got it off and dropped to the floor to see what was going on and guess what numb nut's here has forgotten to tigh…

There was a bacon butty with my name on it but the battery on my bike was as flat as fecking pancake, tried charging it but turns out its buggered, No problem I thought the bikes still in warranty but my local yamaha shop is out of stock and cant get one until the new year. Well thats a glorious December day fecking wasted.

Great start to the new year!! Dropped my bike yesterday 55 platye FZ6, luckily the only damage is a scratched clutch cover and bent clutch lever. Flipping peeved off about it though, can’t believe I did it, just stopped was talking to the missus, leant the bike over onto the kick stand but what hadn’t I done? Put the bleeding kick stand down that’s what! got to the point of no return and down it went, bugger! So where can I get some touch up paint for the clutch cover and where is the best place to get spares from? Happy new year!

I recently got a flat tyre on the front of my winter bike. I took it along to a local bike shop as I could not be bothered to change the inner tube myself (yes lazy I know), but £10 saw me on the road again in under 30 mins. I was dissmayed to find yesterday that I had a flat again. So, I whipped the front tyre off the rim expecting to find a nail through the side wall. Can you imagine my suprise when a set of feeler guages plopped out. I know they are not mine as I checked and my set is in my tool box, so tomorrow I will be giving the garage a quick ring to ask if they would like their feeler guages back and can they supply me with a replacement inner tube - this ti…

Going by that "chair" on the back it could be just the job for a mobile dentist's surgery . You'd save a fortune on laughing gas .

Hey folks!! As the regulars know, I've a huge soft spot for FZRs & have had a couple! Well, my daily trawl through the local classifieds has unearthed a cheap 3HE in decent shape, needs a little cosmetic tlc but apparently starts & runs well. I can feel a purchase & project coming on! Just gotta convince the wife it's a good idea....

I've been tearing my house apart for the last 4 hours looking for my driving licence counterpart but no luck yet, I need it by next Thursday so not much chance of getting a copy by then so I'll just have to think of where I hid last, worst idea ever to have your licence in two half's neither is of little use on its own anyway

Just thought I'd share my first real 'idiot moment' that I had today. 5pm, bikes warmed up ready to leave work and the workshop floor's wet as it's peeing down near Old Trafford. Gets on the bike and about to leave. My right foot slipped enough on the wet floor to put me off balance and my rather weighty FZR (around 181kg I think) starts to go over. I fought hard to keep it up but it beat me in the end. To make matters worse, as it went down, I couldn't help but rev it so everyone was alerted to my antics in time to see me drop the bugger! It's not too bad, corner of the screen is now missing (was gonna replace it at a later date anyway) right front flasher lens was ri…
