Just couldn't stand it anymore....& had to get out on Sunday & enjoy this Killer weather we've been having .....especially before I started my new job today. Headed to my favorite stomping grounds....the Upper Clackamas river area. Stopped here @ the Carver Bridge boat launch.....which is a great place for swimming during the summer.... Then it was onto Springwater Rd. towards Estacada, where there's some great views of Mt.Hood... Being the time of year that it is......I had to ride around locked gates that closed off roads that are usually open later in the year..... something an XT is GREAT for ... This is a little day use area th…

I lost a key from a boozy night out, so having only 1 key left i thought it would be wise to get a pair of backups made. called up the dealership, gave them my key code, eng no, frame no and he said it would be no problem, pick em up the next day, so i did. Only problem being these new keys are good enough to open the petrol tank and not start her up! They dont even look the same at the bottom of the key as my original. Any ideas?

What kind of set up do you guys use for washing / cleaning parts? I've seen a few on Ebay with the pumps - but not sure of the quaility and if I really need another piece of equipment if a plastic dish sink pan and stiff brush would suffice. Also - what type of solvents do you prefer? Thanks for the input. G

To my darling husband, Before you return from your overseas trip I just want to let you know about the small accident I had with the pick up truck when I turned into the driveway. Fortunately not too bad and I really didn't get hurt, so please don't worry too much about me. I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake. The garage b door is slightly bent but the pick up fortunately came to a halt when it bumped into your car. I am really sorry, but I know with your kind-hearted personality you will forgive me. You know how much I love you and care for you my…

I finally weakened and got my triple - a Trumpet Splint Arse in black. Sadly, the poor old Trixie has to go at the end of the month as I cann't justify two bikes (not even with one as a track day tool only). So I have been putting some serious farewell miles on it. I'll miss the booming roar of the big twin (but will have the nice snarl of a triple instead) and, despite having twenty five more horses to play with, the Trumpet actually seems slower.... a real old man's bike. But Ohhhh-ho-ho the heated grips! Now, where's my cloth cap and muffler - I'm off to sit in the snug bar boring eveyone stiff with the tales of the great days of long ago.

Hi Stevie 9183 I've just seen your red machine. I'm a bit curious. Nice looking bike but an N with a fairing? Must be a DIY Diversion S. Did you buy it like that or is it all your own work? BeePee

Has any one done any track training and other advanced riding courses. I am riding around on an R6. I legally can probably use no more than 1/4 of the power available and it all seems such a waste. I am thinking it would be nice to be able to through it around a track. What experiences have people got? Recommended websites and other costs involoved? Thanks.

Question concerning the fazer headlight. I'm fitting a fazer headlight to my fz which I might say is taking some time due to the amount of fibre glassing. I would like to now if the lefthand light when you're on the bike is wired to the dip or main beam. If anyone can let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks
