Greetings all. Purchased a new 2008 star xvs 100T yesterday and can hardly wait till she gets delivered. I currently own a BMW K1200RS and decided to try a different seat style. What can I expect? If I get the bike on a Friday, I'd more than likely have it back on Monday for the 600 mile service. I enjoy a good ride.

Hi, all, Franky here.... just got back to bike's again after an 8 year break, and managed to get myself a mint TRX850 with a genuine 9932 miles, came with a full service history and all the old MOT's. Taking a bit of getting used to going into the corners with the weight, as i am a keen cyclist as well and do a little road racing. May take a week or 2 to get used to the weight differance, used to throwing a race bike that weighs about the same as a bag of sugar. Anyway...... just thought i would drop in and say hello. Franky

Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Phil from Belfast and I bought a 2004 FZ6S (the 'eurofazer') at the end of November last year. So far I have put about 2,000 miles on it and enjoyed every minute of it. This is my first 'big bike' as my previous one was a 1976 Honda 400/4 (that I sold yesterday after 10 years). I have had various smaller bikes over the years since my first - FS1E (in purple) in 1974. Brand new and on-the-road including 1 year's fully comp insurance for £220 !!!

Don't even know if im posting this in the right place so feel free to move it if its not. I've had a quick look through your forum and it seems like a canny set up.... I have been riding bikes for nearly 21 years and ive only had 4 minor'ish accidents so im either good, lucky or saving it up for a biggy!!!! Im a member of a north east of england bike club. I have 3 bikes at the mo (and a few in spares)...i know that might seem excessive but i say you can never have too many bikes..my resident bikes are my trusty zzr1100 (c1 model) and 2 dtr 125's (1995+2001) and im off down the big smoke this tuesday to pick up a 2000 model R1. Spent the summer b…
