Right, the dreaded seizing EXUP valve (now unseized), has caused the EXUP cables to fray badly at the EXUP valve end. I know that the part numbers`and descriptions are as follows:~ i) 4FM-1133E-00-00 cable pulley 1 & ii) 4FM-1133F-00-00 cable pulley 2 iii) £45 each (cant rememeber if that's inc or + VAT, but still too much too pay for 2x cables) EXHAUST Yamaha YZF750RF 1994 OEM Parts - Cheap Cycle PartsEXHAUST Yamaha YZF750RF 1994 OEM Parts - Cheap Cycle Parts www.cheapcycleparts.com › OEM Parts › Yamaha › 1994 I have read on a forum topic somewhere else on this site that the inner length is about 620mm & the`outer is approx 445mm. Hi Guys, I've got a 31 year old TY175 which runs on mineral two stroke oil on the standard autolube system - the book says its about a 30:1 mix ratio. Does anyone know if I can swap over to fully synthetic oil on a leaner mix without harming the engine? I believe the oil/petrol ratio is adjusted by re shimming the pump? Cheers, Jim. p.s. will update my profile this weekend.

Please help the bike will start up ok but when running it's reluctant to go over 5000 revs (50mph max)it holds back, i've stripped the carbs all looks nice and clean and ok, i've balanced them the best i can. but i still get this problem, I've started the bike with the right carb only (disconnected the left ht lead) and set the carb to idle about 1.3, but when i try the left carb only it will not start. I started the bike with both carbs and removed the right ht lead, engine kept running so i set this to idle at 1.3 for the left. BUT One thing i notice when running with one carb is the right side i can rev quite well but the left side is holding back and will not rev …

Well first I think this would be a good time to say hello to everyone. This is the first time I have been on this site. Following some of the threads in all the different sections is amazing to know people really love their Yamaha. I love my Yamaha, always have, I've always kept it had different bikes, i've even gone to the dark side and sampled the Kawasaki and the Suzuki but I have always kept hold of my first 'big' bike. This bike would be the XJ600S Diversion 1995...not the best Yamaha but more of a sentimental issue for me. This bike hasn't seen the light of day for nearly 5 years it has been stuck in my garage hidden away in the corner. I have finally come …

Hey everyone. It turns out the DT125 I bought is actually a DT50. I am hoping to get at least a 60cc big bore kit as have noit didn't come with a top end right now. I can only find them in the uk or europe and cannot find anyone willing to ship one to me in Canada. Does anyone know where I can get a big bore kit for my 86 DT50 in North America. It has to have the threaded exhaust attachment on the front of the engine to fit the pipe i have (factory, but mint shape). I figure since i have to buy a cylinder and head anyway might as well add a little juice to the old girl any help would be really appreciated. thanks jason

I have a 1972 Yamaha 360 RT-2 that i got from my uncle. When i was under it draining the old oil out of of it there were two bolts. One was the main oil drain and the other was under the transmission and they both had oil in them that drained out. The bolt under the transmission was hollow and had a spring and bearing of some sort in it. When I was putting both bolts in the oil drain tightened and the one under the transmission broke. I have to relapse it but there is nothing in the manual about that bolt. Do I have to make a new one or are there replacements out there? And what does it do???

Hi. My bike is a 96 model with 21k on the clock, as i gradually increase the revs at a standstill it seems rough untill about 5000 then rapidly leaps up to max like its just hit its power band. When riding it also feels rough in that rev range but when twisting the throttle it pulls like a train and feels great. I have replaced all spark plugs, an ignition coil(suspected problem), stripped the carbs cleaning all jets and adjusting pilot screws and visually checking all the butterflys are in the same position(no vacumn guages) and float bowls also in the same position (sounded so confusing checking them didnt bother) Bike does have a scorpion can on so im wondering …

Not been on for a while and missed loads of posts... Been in and out of hospitals etc many times thanks to the National waste my effin time with no regard to your Health Service... But... SR engine completely stripped down to nothing, crankcase rebonded, all gaskets replaced, everything cleaned to a shine and oiled, and she runs!!! Annoyingly, doesnt like idling again, which is the problem I had and rectified before... Then took it to pieces again :-S I have noticed though if I apply the tiniest mouse fingered throttle, it idles like a dream... Throttle cable has a wee bit of play too, so should I just tighten it a little?

my pinlock visor was due a maintenance (fogging around the edges of the insert on the main visor). i have a Nolan N85 that came ready-fitted with the pinlock, and i haven't fiddled with it since i bought it (ive removed the whole visor to clean it, but thats all my attempt at cleaning and refitting the insert will get its test tomorrow, but ive also noticed that the insert is touching the main visor (not the silicon edging), which would cause the temperature difference, aiding anti fogging, to be reduced, as the cold from the outside can come straight across, without having to move across the air gap as well. i guess that this isnt normal, but is it something to worry …

Hi guys, I have snapped the indicator off my YBR125 and need to repair it. The indicator is working fine, just the mudguard holding it on is snapped. I've brought a replacement just don't know how to fix it. It looks like theres maybe three bolts holding the rear fender/ mudguard on but they are in a difficult position to reach and they've slightly rusted. Is it possible to replace the mudguard and rewire the indicators myself or am I best taking it to a garage?
