Having recently sold the Fzr & bought the twin, I always vowed I'd buy another fizzer at some point as I have soft spot for the wee buggers Well... Having my daily look at local free ads, spotted a familiar bike for sale. It's another 3he, but with updated forks & a single sided Swingarm conversion. Tried to buy same bike last year (it needed a clutch at the time) but was too late. Seems cheap enough, though as usual my suspicious side says there's prob somethin wrong with it! Just gotta persuade the wife now that I need to blow savings on a bike I don't need!!

best video ever, Nuff said well except for Mandlebrots and fractals and by throwing off concepts of 'tempo' and 'synchronization' he's challenging our very understanding of music.

Hello all, Newbie here. I am the second owner of a 1984 FJ600 with 5,587 kms. I am interested in selling but I honestly think this is more than just a 26 yr old bike. 100% original except for a rear turn signal, carb valves/seats plus I added a fuel filter just after the tank. I would post images if I could figure out how - advice sought in this regard or I can email pictures upon request. Colours are red/black/silver/grey. If zero is a wrecker and ten is still in the box (mint) this bike is probably an 8.5 or 9. Carb valves and seats need to be unstuck - new rubber is recommended because even that is original. The machine turns heads. I am posting here because …

Hi All, I have just joined so this is my first post but have a few things I need help with. I have just purchased a 2009 FZ1n my first question is about the ecu mapping I have been told that these machines had problems in the early days with low down torque and were fixed by using a power commander and new exhaust slip mainly on 2006 2007 models, is this the case and has this been fixed on these later models or should I investigate further??????????? Secondly I am looking to buy some parts for the bike for safety and style but could do with some advice on quality price and your own personnel experiance, plus any additional information is always welcomed to improve m…

Hi all, as per my intro post trying to get back into riding again but it has been a few decades since I had to fix them. I recently was given an old 2 stroke 74 TY250 trials bike. It had been sitting in someones shed for a while but done the basic checks, etc and it has been running ok for the last few weeks until now. Now it won't kick over anymore and I can confirm the following... You'll have to excuse my ignorance as It's been a while since ive done this. Got spark (put new spark plug in) spark is good, every kick and looks strong. Petcock is fine, fuel is going into carb, thought I would take the carb off and clean it but when I opened it up I was s…

Hey guys, new to the forum, and I have a question. I'm working on a 2000 WR 400 and it's simply not turning over. I've changed the gas, and spark plug on it (thank you Yamaha for the hardest plug in the world to remove,) but still no fire. Now I know that its getting air, and everything mechanical is working properly because it "turns over" when you kick it. So I'm thinking its electrical. Is there any way for me to check the ignition coil(?)? Some basic info, bikes had one owner, and has mostly storage time. Low low low riding hours sense it was bought. I know its not the best on them, but I've even tried the rolling start for it, and nothing. Any help would be GREATLY a…

Im hoping some of you guys could answer some questions please: 1) What is the bike test like, is it difficult etc? 2) The R6, as a first bike good idea or not? Good bike in general? 3)how much should i look to pay for the direct access? Any other advice would be more than welcome with regards to the direct access, the bike and what to look out for etc when buying. Really appreciate any reply's in advance. Hello to …

Hello people, i have just purchased a dtr125re 2004 model, i have had a dtr before and decided to get another, i have started to strip the bike down because of the previouse owner not looking after the bike, i will be powdercoating all brackets and the frame + swinger, i am looking towards putting a set of supermoto wheels on, i have no clue where to look, i have been racing pitbikes, supermoto style for over 2 years, but it seems to be a litte harder finding parts ect for a dt, also looking for a rear caliper plus brackets and seem to be having a little bit of trouble, there is one on ebay but at £130,00 seems steep?, i will try post some piks up of the build, i also nee…

My upstairs hall light blew a couple of bulbs recently, the fitting takes 3 bulbs. No problems I have a (growing) selection or sizes and fittings. Out comes the bulb and I was surprised. I did actually fit the light fitting but could not remember the type of bulb. That is interesting I hear you say; Is it a Bayonet fitting - no Is it a small bayonet fitting - no Is it a screw fitting - no Is it a small screw fitting - no. That is not to mention low energy, 40w, 60w, 100w variations. It is a Phillips pl-c 13w/827/2p. That is a 13 watt, cool white, 2pin fluorescent disguised as a light bulb to you and me. Armed with this information I go off to B&Q and …

Went to the cinema last night and saw the new 3-D film about the Isle of Man TT races... I'm not a fan of Sports bikes and racing, but this is definitely something WELL worth seeing!! For those that don't know, the TT (Tourist Trophy) races take place on the Isle of Man every year. The big thrill is that this isn't a racing track - These guys are racing on normal public roads, through what are normally 30mph limit areas and around mountain roads at up to 200mph!! There are several races of different classes held over a week or two and these guys are blasting past brick and stone walls, lamp posts, sheer drops and all sorts. Accidents can and do happen - In it's hu…
