Having just purchased a 2002 Fazer is there anybody in the South West of Scotland who is intrested in weekend runs?

Hi I have recently bought a new fazer fz6 s2, this is my first bike here. Looking forward to summer for some rideouts / day trips. CAn anyone suggest how I can find out about rideouts? thanks

Just got my first sport bike 88 FZ 750 today actually. Haven't had a bike in years I'm definatly going to need some help as the bike has been sitting for 3 yrs. and when it was stored it fell off the trailer and did some front faring damage. Any way when I get a chance I'll post some pics. From what I was told it is a rare find since it is the blue/white/yellow stripe color scheme. I don't know about that I'm just glad to have it!

I thought it only polite to say 'hi' to everyone as I've just joined- no point in lurking at the back looking shifty is there? I don't have a bike (at the minute), although I have had a few small sports bikes in the past- FZR400RR, SZR660s, TZR250s, that kind of thing. My bf has a Buell Firebolt 12 which is very lovely. We're looking to build me a little hardtail bobber this year around an SR250, money permitting (as ever...) Anyway, that's me for now Kayla

Hi guys, So as it starts to get colder, I need to get a new pair of gloves that actually stop my fingers from feeling like they are going to fall off! Any suggestions for some winter gloves that aren't too expensive would be much appreciated. Cheers /Steve

Hello Its good to find this forum, I just bought an 1976 XS 500 for my wife which has been sitting for a number of years but seems to be complete and kicks through nice. Ive changed the oil and fixed the carb issues now Im just down to getting the points straightened out an collecting a few missing parts (least thats what Im hoping for) Ive been riding for a number of years Mostly Harley's and Triumphs and I look forward to expanding my knowledge of yet another new breed of bike.

hi guys im paul live in torbay devon i like tinkering with motorcycles but have come to a real problem ive just got a new project bike and was told it didnt need a lot of work well when i got her home no electrics work at all wello exept the temp gauge but thats a start lol has anyone ever had a full rewire done and how much am i looking at shelling out by the way its a old 1985 dt125lc any help appreciated cheers paul

Evenin' all! I is new here, so thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. Am from the Bristol area, been here for about 6 weeks, originally from London. I ride a 07 R1. was in storage down at my mums in London while I settled down in Bristol. Picked it up on Saturday. The roads around here are stunning, compared to londons traffic jams! Any good riding roads, biker hangouts any1 can recomend? Hope to catch up with you guys soon!

Hey everyone. Im seriously interested in buying a new bike but dont know didley squat when it comes to them. I was hopin you all could help me out in zeroing in on what I should be looking for and what a newb should get into. I was told that an R6 is a great begginers bike and I wouldnt mind gettin one at all. Just dont want to jump into something head first without knowing what I'm gettin myself into. Hey I'm new here just wanted to introduce myself, I'm from Detroit, MI and just recently purchased my first bike from a friend last fall as a winter project. It's a 1975 Yamaha xs500 DOHC and I bought it in non-running condition, i replaced the coils on it, the plugs, completely rebuilt the carbs, new (used but in good condition) intake manifolds, and got the bike running. Now heres my problem... The bike will start, and idle fine once its warmed up like any other bike, sounds great, has a healthy rev when in neutral but where i start to wonder what could be wrong, when i ride the bike it runs fine up until about 4k-4500k rpm's then the right cylinder cuts ou…

i just bought this bike fro the wife and it has a pretty audible ticking in the engine and not quite sure what to do. i did check the valve clearance for the back cycl. but now i'm not sure that i did it right any help would be great or point me to the right forum as i cant find anything in here..thanks dale...
