HEY THERE. JUST WANTED TO SHOW YOU A COUPLE OF PHOTO'S OF MY 1985 YAMAHA FZ400. I GOT IT OFF EB@Y FOR A MASSIVE £70. IT WAS A NONE RUNNER AT ALL. DIDN'T EVEN SPARK. NOW IT HAS BEEN TOTALLY STRIPPED TO THE BONES AND HAD EVERYTHING CLEANED RE-PAINTED AND PUT BACK TOGETHER. IT HAS HAD ALL NEW BEARINGS, NEW PADS ALL ROUND, NEW BRAKE LINES, NEW OIL AND AIR FILTER AND NEW CHAIN AND SPROCKETS. THE REAR SEAT UNIT IS OFF A KWAK 400. NEEDED ABIT OF MODIFICATION BUT NOW FITS LIKE A DREAM. THE EXHAUST HAS BEEN CUT DOWN AND SOUNDS AWESOME. IT IS READY FOR A FULL RE-SPRAY NOW BUT STILL UNSURE OF WHAT COLOUR TO DO IT. hello to all i am left hanging with a fault that is a bit strange basically my bike is overheating,there is coolant coming out of the overflow and the pipes are expanding as if there is a blockage or the prepeller isnt working or thermostat as of yet i have ripped out the coolant system(radiator,all pipe and also checked the water prepeller on gearbox, i do not have a thermostat fitted either the bike on revs idles strangly eg 1-3 thousand rpm up and down unsteadily the bike will ride normally for around 20 mins then overheat and fluid comes out every gap it can find any suggestions i would be grateful for,thank you in advance

Oh dear! Next week I am having to go to do a proper job for the next few Months. I have spent the last 8ish years working for myself on various contracts but the latest one means that I will be employed until 2011. hi all , currently own 1999 hayabusa (sorry know its a yam forum) also a 1980 350lc witch ive owned for 3 years , i totally stripped it when i purchased it as it had been left in a shed for 10 years , hope to have it up and running again in the next year , as with all these things time & money are allways an issue. will have a few questions to ask later im sure , cheers dale
