Merry Xmas everyone, all have a good one and have lots of fun on your bikes next year whether they be yams or not. Special thanks to alexasigno for providing the forum which breaks down at the most inopportune times and all the regulars that just 'make it happen' Looking forward to a few days out with you again next year ...Paul

So you're not content with whinging to the Mods? And you're not content with whinging to me? You're now whinging to Alex who's in Australia at the moment. Now my position here is looking after the software while Alex is away. I've said before that the Mods deal with board matters, not me. And besides that...I'm also a MEMBER here. I'm entitled to post as a MEMBER. And now I'm speaking to you as a MEMBER! And I want to tell you that you are the creepiest little bastard that I've ever encountered in 10 years of Internet use. You bring nothing to this forum other than total and utter shite, and have singlehandedly contributed to the lowest level of member usage sinc…

Hi all, Not sure if anyone can help but here goes anyway, I recently had problems with my meta M53T disabling my bike (just as I was 100yds from home - lucky) , I want to remove this and put a new datatool S4, however I cannot find the information required to remove the Meta. I have found and traced all the connections, the bike will turn over but no HT, I have also fitted the new alarm ready but not much use without knowing which of the 9 all black yamaha wires need to be bridged to regain the spark. Hope fully someone out there can help either by forum or PM as i go back away with work soon and i want to go for a ride around first.

  10. Started by David Baker,

Anyone else got one of these? I've had it for over two months and the wires have came loose twice. Anyone else have any problems?

Hi to all and happy New Year from sunny Scotland. I'm new to this forum so i thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself . My forum name is golfdub as i've been into mk2 golf's for a while now ( hey you need a car when its snowing you cant ride a bike) but ive owned a few bikes in the past and at the moment i have a 89 fzr 1000 exup thats my favorite toy !!!!! The exup was a shed when i bought it so after 6mths of part finding, rebuilding, cleaning, restoring and lots of alloy polishing it now looks fantastic. I run a small family metal polishing business thats been going about 10yrs. I mainly do motorcycle parts wheels , frames, engine cases, swin…

I changed my oil today (as I do every 2500 miles) and to my horror I noticed some shiny little specs, just 3 or 4 little tiny specs of metal, but this has never happened before, even after the time it overheated and needed a top end rebuild. What the hell do I do now? Everything SEEMS to be ok, the gears all select as they should, starts every time, no knocking, everything is as it's always been.

I'm going to be moving in the new year and I need to think about storage for my bike(s). I want to get at least two more bikes on top of my WR. I want a 125 2T and a crosser for the weekends. I've been looking at the metal sheds you can buy and they seem to be the best option. I would imagine that they are really thin and easy to break into. Does anyone have one, or something similar?

I finally got around to watching Fahrenheit 9/11. Deffo very one sided but looking through all of that and having read both his anti-Bushisms, I must say that I am astonished that the USA re-elected GWB. Watching the various news feeds from around the globe it's plain to see that the USA is most probably the most unliked country in the world and that situation seems to be excaserbated by the man at the helm. I really, really hope that at the UK general election, Tony Blair and the Labour party goes down the swannie, the only problem is that the other choices are either lame or have no idea. Jesus Christ, how could John Kerry not win and how could the Americas re…

Michelin to Recall Pilot Power 2CT and Pilot Power 120/70 ZR 17 Front Motorcycle Tyres 15/06/07 (STOKE-ON-TRENT – 15 June 2007) – Michelin has launched a campaign to recall its Pilot Power 2CT and Pilot Power 120/70 ZR 17 front motorcycle tyres with “Made in France” markings. An examination of these tyres showed a possible defect in the tread due to a manufacturing irregularity. No cases of pressure loss have been reported and no accidents have occurred. Because customer safety is its primary concern, Michelin has decided as a precaution to replace certain 120/70 ZR 17 Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and Michelin Pilot Power fron…
