Got to within 100 yards of my house last night when my engine seized. Luckily I wasn't go to fast, still not a pleasant expeirence having the back lock up like that. Any recommendations for trustworthy mechanics in the South West London area? I suspect it's going to be expensive to get my bike back on the road :-(

How hard is it to change the oil seals on a rs125? Took my bike for the mot today and i need these replacing. I also need a new rear light cover, low beam bulb, and the front mud guard needs adjusting as it hits the exhaust. All of this work is coming in at around 110 +vat including parts. Does this sound right, the labour is coming to £70. Any suggestions welcome.

Hi everybody, I'm having a mega clearout and have came across some bike clothing I'm going to get rid of to a charity shop but I'd rather they go to a current biker first. What I have is a full set of leathers and a textile jacket with padded leggings which are not waterproof but are very warm. I am 5' 8" - 42" chest and 36" waist. Hopefully photos to follow. So thought I would pop out for a nice ride this afternoon. Nice to get out on Christmas day when the roads are fairly empty and thought the weather is not gonna be great for next 2 months. Not entirely sure what happened beyond I lost traction whilst accelerating. This the result ; Past me - 'Do I want to pay £100 + for engine protectors? Nah' So looks like I wont be riding for a while. Think my pride is hurt worse than I am though so I guess that is good.
