This is a duplicate post - I also posted in my build thread but I wanted to put it up here too and report as time goes on if this stuff actually works or not. Did the "Engine Restore" treatment to the bike today. She goes through about half a quart of oil every 200kms...which is pretty excessive, and I don't really want to tear the engine apart to do rings or anything but if I have to I will....but I figured I'd give this stuff a shot first. I followed the instructions for wet-clutch 4 stroke motorcycles, which I have...and that was: Pull all 4spark plugs Used a turkey baster to insert about a teaspoon of "Engine Restore" into the spark plug holes Put the…

hi, just all got a midnight star 1300, great bike but a bit too quiet for me, now should I just drill out the baffles or get some slip ons. If I go for slip ons what should I go for? I don't need loads of noise but a little more would be great, any advice or comments would be welcome.

If you want to know how much quicker a DT175 is compared to XL185 you must own both. Although its 2 stroke vs 4 stroke its still amazing how much quicker the DT is...runs rings around the XL. Won`t get the good fuel consumption though.

Just seen this on faceache and looks a great alternative to painting. The hydrographic process consists of transferring a pattern to an object using water displacement. The object being printed can now be dipped through the pattern. The water being displaced by the object causes the pattern to wrap around and adheres the print to the object no matter how complex the shape. Creating a continuous finish. http://www.kustomcoatingsuk.co.uk/

Got some more reflective decals in today (Dunlop ones for my front forks) and had him make some visor strips as well, which turned out to be a little too big for the visor...so I stuck that on the back of my helmet along with a yamaha and dunlop decal, which are reflective. Should help increase visibility at night and maybe prevent someone rear ending me! Plus I think they look sweet. material is Avery Black Reflective Vinyl

Had a really good ride out today starting with a breakfast at a local bikers cafe and visiting a friends home. Got back home and gave the bike a good clean only to find a large nail in the front tyre! bummer! Curiosity got the better of me and I pulled it out....it had gone through! Still I suppose I was lucky it didn't happen on the road. Guess I will now have to take the wheel off and get it fixed.

Just trying to figure out how long those beasts could live. Bought my 1980 DT175MX at 39,000 kilometers (24,000 miles). Seems a lot compared to similar people on the forum with the same bike. I spent some cash on it and now it's like a queen. So how many miles has your DT done? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not sure if you guys and gals watch Counting Cars on Sky? but this guy is a repeat person on the show and just look at what he creates! This Ford Model T (or A) has 2 V8's and 4 Super chargers working in sync. He has now finished building a Chopper with 4 Halrey twins. Most would thing that he has just spun two motors about to mount to the side, nope, as if he done that they would be running the wrong way so he's taken them apart a re-built them backwards so that they now run in reverse to also work in sync witht he two standard motors. I cant get his actual web page to work as its blocked here at work but i "think" you can get the full build thread on there.…
