Hey all, I am new to the website, as well as the motorbike scene. Got myself an 2002 R6, I cam off it just before christmas, thankfully I was only, few bruises but nothing major - the bike however needed new headlight unit, front cowling, r/h mid fairing. Manage to get some very cheap & excellent condition eadlights & front cowling the the mid fairing I am stuggling with. Have been weighing up my option, which are as follows: Option 1 - Live with the tatty fairing I have on there at the minute, even tho the rest of the bike is A1 condition. Option 2 - Buy a brand new one from Yamaha, cost me £279.95 + VAT. That will mean it will be perfect again …

Hi guys, I'm Bas from the Netherlands, i'm not currently owning a Yamaha. But i'm hoping to get myself a 2005 TZR50 next week. I do own a bike, a 1982 Puch maxi. English isn't my first language (dutch is obviously) so if you catch any grammar or spelling mistakes, just say so and i'll try to improve my Enlish! I may not own a Yamaha but i do own a 1990 Mazda 323F. In the UK better known as a Mazda Astina. It's up for sale currently because it is, engine wise, a total mess. It was that way when i've bought it. and i've been tearing the poor thing down even more. Racing with no coolant or oil in the engine (because it was leaking everywhere!) But when I will have my TZR5…

Hope no one minds but I'm really, over the moon today - it's a perfect day. I had my employment tribunal pre-hearing today. My case has gone from no-hope to good chance, back to a no-hoper and then today, right back in the fight. The Judge (a total goddess - but blonde ) sent everything my way and really burned Telewest out - to the point that even at this pre-hearing their application for costs (£1200 for the morning) was denied which is very unusual I am told. The poo was hitting them so fast that they have asked for the case to be adjourned so that they can prepare further case notes and evidence in their defence. Round 2 is on the 4th of February but…

Alrighty there... Joined up your great looking site, as I've just come into the biking world by buying a TZR 125 - after one shot taking it home, I'm hooked already! Its my first bike, passed my CBT a couple of months ago and finally got round to buying a bike at the weekend. Here's a few wee pics before it started raining! (I do live in sunny Scotland after all!) Love at first sight, she's a bit rough round the edges but I see it as challenge to tidy up odds and ends. If anyone else has one, would love to see their pics and get some inspiration! Know absolutely nothing about bikes (and not ashamed to admit it!) so any help or info about it will be gr…

So What would be your Dream Yamaha to own if you could? ..... Without a doubt.....this would be my 1st choice ..... A Sweet, Rainey replica polished Spondon-framed RD500 V4

I thought id better say hello properly, cos you be seeing me around on the notice boards. The names Matt, Im a 35 yr old bike fanatic, if its got 2 wheels and an engine im probably gonna like it! Been riding for 14 years, the ex wife made me sell my bikes to finace some rug rats so there was a 6 year gap. But as soon as the divorce was through (5 yrs ago) the bikes came back. I live on the Dutch/belgium border with my lovely cloggy woman who accepts that bikes are my first love! My daily ride is a Thunderace, my mistress is a GSXR 750RR, in the winter i ride a moped and i got a project or two (which might or might not be put back together!). I see that there is abit b…

Hi all, i've just started biking again after a few years off (too big a mortgage and no dosh for a bike!) Also suffering a mid life crisis, bought a cruiser 6 weeks ago and hated it so I changed it for a 2003 Fazer 600. A superb bike not too heavy on the insurance and great to ride. Just found this site today, looks good. Cheers

Hi to one and all. I now have a Yamaha MT 03 had it about a year, really good fun on the mountain roads. Before that I had a Honda Hornet and before that Suzuki Freewind (hubby crashed that one). I just wanted to join a social bike forum, not sure if this is what this is, but I'm sure someone will let me know. Hubby has a Triumph Tiger. We are living in Bulgaria, came over here 4 and half years ago and just love it. Anyone out there been over here.

Just a quick post to say hello to everyone on here! My names Joel, I'm 21 and I am from Oxford. My main ride is a Triumph Daytona 955i 99' but I am currently building a custom Yamaha cafe racer. I have joined the forums just to see what other people are up to, in terms of bikes that is. I have some cool ideas of customs I would like to build around Yamaha's and over time I hope to hear some opinions. Just a bit of background info, I worked in F1 for 5 years and I am about to start studying physics at university. Best regards to everyone, Joel
