Hello Everyone, This morning I took my module 1 test on my 1995 SR125 and I'm hoping to gain an A2 license, remaining restricted to 33bhp for 2 years. I passed (yay!), but was only given an A1 certificate because my bike was not on the examiner's list of machines capable of 100 km/h. He said if I could get a certificate of conformity for the bike, proving it could achieve the minimum speed, I could get the certificate upgraded. My question is, has anyone here taken their restricted A2 license on an SR125? I'll feel more comforted if others have done so, and it's just a case of getting the necessary paperwork. im planning on chopping my frame the reg plate will mount under the seat in front of the back wheel there would be no rear mudguard is this legal i was told the bike had to have mudguard to pass the mot but i m more concerned if it will atract the plods attention

I have a Yamaha tw 125 and i stopped outside my local shop (only wanted some fags!) and a community support officer made a point of coming over and trying to tell me my back 'tyre' he said is illegal,i thought he ment my knobbly's which are the road legal ones but he said my back wheel should be the same size as the front,to which i replied er no that is legal and that is how the tw's are am i going mad?! please tell me im right coz the guy was a prick

Hello fellow yam-heads, im in the throws of buying a 2007 FZ1 FAZER and am a bit concerned about the fuel glitch that seams to pop up every time i read a report or test ride on this bike, they have not been very kind to the 2006 model. and am just reaching out there to see how accurate the reports are in real world terms? and if so, has it been solved on the 2007 model.

I've always wanted to do one but I wasn't sure if it was worth the cost. I'm not doing it because of the "possible" reduction to the the insurance premium but to better my riding skills I guess. It's apparent that's not always the case since I did Pass Plus for driving and there was no reduction to the premium with it (even though the insurance company has stated that they do). Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) caught my attention and they do a course, test and one years membership for £139. The only worry now is that I'm still riding around on the XT 125 X which struggles to obtain 70mph on the motorway. So I might just have to wait until I move up because I thin…

Hi all, without wanting to sound like a total idiot I'm wondering if my bike is 2-stroke or 4-stroke? I have a 1997 SR 125. What are the main differences between 2 and 4, and is there something you must do differently for each? I could just head off to google I guess but then why join a forum if I'm not going to ask you guys for help. I have no mechanical background whatsoever so be gentle please!

Hi everyone, new here. I've just turned sixteen and I'm hoping to get some sort of motorbike. I'm not too keen on the scooters and I was looking for something like a TZR 50.
