I would just like to wish all the members a happy new year. Also I want to thank everybody who helped me by answering my non stop barrage of questions, which must of got annoying after a while. I have learned a hell of a lot about maintaining my bike and my confidence has grown about tackling bike related problems, all because of you guys. Thanks hope you all have a great 2013.

  16. Has any one ever had a Yamaha 600 Thundercat and what do you think of them ? The only reason I asked is when I asked the wife what she liked and all the bikes I liked she didn't lol she likes the look of a Kawasaki zx7 but I think I would have to be riding a bit longer for one of those ! but I do look the look of the Thundercat and I have had a look online and from what I could find it looks a pretty good bike but they aren't brand new which I'm not bothered about and there reasonably price at about a grand and a half for a decent looking bike, and if I dropped it I wouldn't cry as much as dropping a brand new bike which would be a fair few more grand and a trip to …

About twenty years ago coming back from Clevedon in Somerset on the M5 Northbound after watching our local football team play away to Clevedon with my son on the back of my Divvy 600 he decided to fall asleep going across the Avonmouth bridge in Bristol. My mistake was to shout his name and ask him if he was OK. What I should have done was to pull into the emergency lane and woke him up. But since that experience I've learned that is a common occurrence. (frightening) But the most frightening time was coming back from Poole in Dorset again watching our local team play and as luck had it I entered a 40mph speed limit just before Warminster on the A350 and he decided to f…

  19. Being on a bike and enjoying twists and turns helps me forget: A roof when it's wet Heating when it's cold Air con when it's hot Bumpers 4 wheels when it's raining Vulnerability pretty much all the time What I really miss is not having a little music. I don't believe the use of earphones is safe as it completely removes a vital sense that keeps you safe. So I've been looking on eBay at small fm/mp3 type radios with a couple of small speakers. Nothing too loud just something to listen to at a sensible volume while I'm enjoying a ride. (Bearing in mind 50-60mph is my limit). Anybody's thoughts?
