Just got my first sport bike 88 FZ 750 today actually. Haven't had a bike in years I'm definatly going to need some help as the bike has been sitting for 3 yrs. and when it was stored it fell off the trailer and did some front faring damage. Any way when I get a chance I'll post some pics. From what I was told it is a rare find since it is the blue/white/yellow stripe color scheme. I don't know about that I'm just glad to have it!

  3. A woman goes into Harrods to buy a rod and reel for her grandson's birthday. She doesn't know which one to get, so she just grabs one and goes over to the counter. The Harrods salesman is standing there, wearing dark shades. She says, "Excuse me. Can you tell me anything about this rod and reel?" He says, "Madam, I'm completely blind; but, if you'll drop it on the counter, I can tell you everything you need to know about it from the sound it makes." She doesn't believe him but drops it on the counter anyway. He says, "That's a six-foot Shakespeare graphite rod with a Zebco 404 reel and 10-lb test line. It's a good all around combination, and it's on sale thi…

Chaps, You may have noticed that I've been quiet for a few weeks. This is mainly due to taking on an off-road trip through Spain & Portugal. I think the last tally was 818 miles of dirt'n dust on the XT660Z. Anyway, here's one or two pictures for you all. The usuall, 'leaving blighty' picture from the back of the boat looking at Plymouth.. the entertainment wasn't too bad on the ferry and before we'd even hit the trails the heat of rush hout in Santander took it's toll on the only XT-R that was with us. We stayed over in Potes in Northern Spain for the first night, riding south past a huge lake that was as still as…

Now the exhaust needs CO-adjustment , and I was hoping someone in here knew where to find the right CO % for an -87 model. Haynes manual dosn't mention anything about it. Cheers Steen

I bought a new bike yesterday, a Thundercat YZF600RR. Well it's not new, it's actually 13 years old. I bought it because my car was dying so I sold that and decided to get back on two wheels after two years. My last bike was an XJ600N. It was used for commuting, a little dull but it done the job. The Thundercat promises to be a different beast and after riding on it yesterday I had the most stupid grin and it was like I had never got off two wheels. The bike itself is in very good nick, no obvious signs of damage or wear. It's HPI clear, the front fork seals are leaking a little and the battery has now decided to not hold a charge. The cat has 30000 miles and only ha…
