At this time of year and with this adverse weather now is the time to think of your elderly neighbours. I usually put 6 bottles of milk and a couple of newspapers on the old biddies door step who lives directly opposite - then I ring the Social Services. I love the look on her face when the police break down the deaf old cows front door. Merry Christmas. J2

Just wanted to give a big thanks to the firm in Northampton that made my spacers. Fitted perfectly with my apalling draftmanship and didnt charge for fixing my 7mm cock up. Stephil (pronounced stefil) Engineering. Dunster street. Northampton 01604 630508 Old skool turners. Costs around £20/h plus material for any one off parts. 4 one off top hat spacers and some minor remachining of my sprocket carrier cost me 35quid. Real nice pair of blokes in a tiny unit that could talk the balls of a brass elephant. Reccomended.

I have just been going though my emails and found I had a PM from somebody on this site. Turns out that its a spam email, but it reminded me that I was signed up to this site. I am currently yamaha less, having sold the RD250 and the DT125LC I still have a hankering for a V-max though! Co-incidently I have just found a load of old Yam bits at the back of the garage in a box, these might be looking for a new home soon. Cheers all! Phil

Out on the bike yesterday with some mates. Pushing quite hard in a few spots when the handling really started to go to shit. Barely got home. Front wheel bearing had shit it's self. Thank f it didn't happen in Derby although I think it was affecting the bike looking back and I just thought it was shitty vmax manners.

I'm looking for some speakers that have good quality sound, good bass and a fairly high volume. I want some that you can plug into your phone and not massive, I don't want a docking station because I already have one. Right let's narrow it down, I'm looking for, loud, bassy, good quality, suitable for iPhones, not huge speakers, not to expensive £80+. Any ideas? Thanks

Can anyone recommend any paper maps that are particularly good for motorcycle use? It's just for UK really, and I generally use a satnav but thought it would be nice to go back to a paper map in the tank-bag Otherwise I'll just go get any old map off Amazon that fits the size.
