Hey peeps, everyone had their fun of the nice weather? ... So I've had a wee look at the pinned chain page. Interesting stuff. Is there any way to see which chain is on my bike? I know it doesn't really matter if it's worn as it will need replaced anyway but I was just curious as to if I could find out if it X or O sealed or make.. Also heard some for's and against Scot Oilers, I'm all for just, *ahem* doing it by hand but been looking into an S.O. and wondering what yer thoughts are...?

Woke up this morning, had to move my brothers car from the driveway, then my younger Bro's car, (as they're both staying over for a while) then open the garage, get the bike out - (Just as well as I had turned it around yesterday) wheeled it down the driveway and fired it up, no probs, starts like a dream helmet on, ready to go on goes my left glove, on goes the right glove - nearly - nearly, owch... my finger,, (the lining in the glove was partially inside out) fumbling like no tomorrow - bikes starts to rev a bit high - so in goes the chalk, visor steams up, "come on you b"££$$£%" by this time - me = fuming... I took my glove…

Well, my near perfect record of ebay purchases has been derailed. I recently invested in a seat unit for one of my many bikes, paid my money only for the bloke to convinently dissapear without a trace. Despite numerous emails and attempted phone calls - nothing. Being as man of limited means I dont have a lot of money to invest in my bikes and with a little one only weeks away I need to be mobile to get to work to pay for nappies etc, so if you are out there 'jgwlong' (ebay name) thanks a bunch! My advice to any of you ebaying for bits is to look out for this ebay ID and excercise caution. PS does anybody have any ideas on how best to fix a baby seat to a motorcycl…

Whoo hoo. Did my 2 hour lesson with Andy from IRT today and loved it all. Soooo busy learning I had no flippin time to let me nerves take over. Nice to know even the experts aren't always perfect though. He kept nicking my YBR125 to demo stuff at the off road site where we started off (think it made him larf as he's all long and lanky and did look pretty funny) and he caught neutral going up from 1st to 2nd which I do too often for my liking. I find I have to make sure I've rolled the throttle totally off and kick like mad on the shifter but it's getting better. We then set off via Sproughton, Chantry & Stoke Park with the [got to be done] stop at Orwell…

The hot weather today got me thinking. I needed to nip out and thought shall I bother with my jacket and gloves as its only up the road. Then I thought about the states in the U.S.A. who allow riders to take the choice whether or not to wear a helmet. I think wearing one is the sensible thing to do and I must admit I do feel an extra sense of security wearing one,

Hello again, I am picking my new ~YBR up on Tuesday, and plan to use it for the odd dry run to work... I need to take folders, paperwork, packed lunch bla bla bla to work with me (bad habbit from having a car for the last 8 years of my life... so I'm thinking I need some sort of top box. from looking on the GIVI website, they don't have my YBR on the 'choose bike find accessories' section. does this mean there are no givi boxes available for my new bike??? Also, when wearing a rucksack on a bike, does it blow around and create drag? (i'm new to riding so a bit confused by it all?)

I'm hoping that someone can help me with a question. Is there anyone making a top mount bracket that can be used on a 07 FZ1 to mount a Givi top case? Givi doesn't show anything. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, Just brought my first ever motorbike at a ripe old age of 53, its a 1998 Yamaha 600-s Diversion with a Squire Sidecar unit (Yeah I know but each to there own) Haven't passed a bike test but hoping to complete a DAS asap. Anyway got on the bike this morning just to ride her out round the field as she's been stood for a while, as I was leaving the shed my german shep ran in the way causing me to swerve, subsequently the outer front roll bar frame of the chair hit the steel pylon upright of the shed causing me to be thrown and the bike n sidecar to tip over onto her right side with chair uppermost, smashed spotlight on chair and broken mirrors on bike. Picked th…

I was sitting in the front room this quiet sunday evening, when I heard the sound of a sports bike being revved, this is usually a sound that is music to my ears, but something was not right. I live at the end of a long cul-de-sac not ideal for top speed runs. When this bike (i think it was an R1 - moving too quickly to be exact) came hammering into the end of the close being ridden by a helmetless lune. He ran out of road so took to the pavement riding past my front door at about 30mph. He left the close after nearly totaling my neighbour and her small baby. If you are reading this Mr R1, then congratualtions, you are a great ambasidor for motorcycling and its mor…

Im wondering on how to go about using glitter and spray paint cans for my aerox panels. i have red glitter flakes that look the nuts, and the panels will be black so it would be red glitter on black.. but my question is.... Does anyone know what the best way to go about this is?? or has anyone tried it before with good or pony results ? like black on first, then glitter on so it sticks to the sticky paint then layers of laquer? im not sure on this... i need to paint it on the cheapish side of things hence spray cans,so i can then sell it to fund something else with a turbo as im quite broke at the mo :\ but any help or advice will be brilliant thanks.
