This morning, as I trundled along the A13, I had my own little Karl Harris moment. Following a car and van, I saw something in the road, ahead of the van. As it passed over, the object got caught in the back wheel of the van. The car behind swerved to the right and the lump of timber (for that's what it turned out to be) met me at head height. It bounced off my lid just above the visor and continued its aerial journey towards Lakeside. I tell you something; a bit of 4x4 wood banging into your crash helmet whilst you're doing 70 mph (officer), is a highly focussing moment. Hi all, New around here, I'm looking at getting a YZF-R125 and am currently getting quotes for insurance that are ranging from £650 (H & R Insurance) to £1300 (Carole Nash) and some even more than that! Was wondering if these kind of prices were normal as they seem rather high to me? About me, I'm 22 in a couple of weeks and have held a full (clean) driving license for over 4 years, bike value is £3k and will be kept in a locked garage overnight. Any YZF-R125 owners willing to disclose what they're paying - and also what license they hold etc? Ta,

Hi, this looks like an great club. I'm riding a 01 Fazer fitted with an Ohlins rear shock and front springs. I'm an old git so this might be my last bike. However it's the best bike I've ever had so I'm happy. I can often be found riding the great roads in nearby Wales.

bought a cheap camcorder last week and was wondering how to mount to the bike. the price for these camera mount are way over the top. so i nipped into my dads shed and found a block of ally after 40mins of miling and cutting i came up with this... I took the top piece from an old tripod i had:) this is a small clip from the camcorder fitted to the bike it was about 7:45pm so the light was fading but the quality is good still http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eH2fpFUNo7M

Hi all Been riding for a little while so am still getting used to my bike, however today I was riding in very high winds and was being blown all over the place!! Im not the heaviest person in the world! There is obviously some very experienced riders on this forum and was wondering how best to cope with the wind? Speed up? Slow down? Lean into the wind? Thanks!

Ok ive just filled the tank..again after clocking up 139.4 miles of riding. this riding has been just commuting to and from work using a roads ranging from 30 mph to 50 mph, keeping stricktly to the speed limits to see exactly what i would get to the tank. Still running bike engine in, up to 415 miles now, so my question is this...is this a true number of miles that i should, and will be getting in the future on my new fazer 600s? Any comments please all out there who have one. Cheers guys`.
