Hi, So Im new, but I have a question for anyone who could help. My Box Eye Fazer has bad lights, a common problem. I want to swap the fairing for a standard headlight from an MT07 or similar, but can't see how the light attaches to the forks/steering and all the dealers are shut. Any one done this mod ?

Does the fazer 600 restrict well ive heard that different engine types restrict better than other engine types is this true

G Day Anybody out there know the best place to get new exhaust header (pref stainless steel) or have any info on ceramic coating exhausts? mine are looking a bit tatty and could do with a change Aby help guys/gals??!! Louis

ive noticed a rattle comeing from my fazer when stoped at lights etc it only happens when the clutch is out . when i pull the clutch in theres no rattle . any idea what could b the problem ???

I was wondering if anyone knows if Yamaha ever made saddle bags for the FZX700 Fazer. I have one, and i do not want to scratch the tail section by using a cargo net. Any ifo would be appreciated Chris

just purchased a 08 fazer 1000, yamaha only do a top box and rack for the 600 i do a bit of touring with the wife on the back she is happier on the back with a box need it for two lids any ideas which is the best make and most tidy looking when the top box is not on it ???

Anyone any advice on these are they any better than the older fazer i own . And what to look out for when buying a used one Thanks

hi all help would be appreciated i fitted hel lines to my 01 fazer today and having bother getting a brake on front wheel lever is soft and spent a long time pumpin lever to no avail back brake fitted and bleed in 10 mins

Hows everyone i havint bin on here in a wile due to a new baby and enjoying every minuite of it . Anyways i got a half hour tou self today and went on a spin . Battery was dead in tje fazer dismorning so charged ot up for a wile then off i went met up wit my mate on his slow as ybr125 but how in ever he only starting so i stuck wit him . Diseve on the way home the light went off on half my gauges eg fuel gauge and half the gauge next to it . I was just wondering is it an easy fix . Do i just replace bulbs etc any help would b great .. thanks and happy christmas everyone !

Question concerning the fazer headlight. I'm fitting a fazer headlight to my fz which I might say is taking some time due to the amount of fibre glassing. I would like to now if the lefthand light when you're on the bike is wired to the dip or main beam. If anyone can let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hi just bought Fazer 1000 (2006) new shape and I get a loud vibration from around the clock area at 4000rpm No noise before 4000 or after 4500 - it's the same in every gear It seems to be either the clock or the piece of plastic above it but I don't know how it secures to the bike or if something needs tightening Please can someone help as I've only had it a couple of days and it's driving me mad Also anybody know where to get a bigger screen and what's the best one to buy THANKS A LOT JJ

awrite folks newbie looking for advice!! I have a 99 plate Fazer which was off the road for a while and when I put it nack on the road it developed this problem!! When accelelarating hard the bike stutters as if the carbs are flooding but the power kicks in after a second or so! I have replaced fuel pump, filter, drained tank and filled with new fuel, recharged battery, changed oil and filter, cleaned carbs and checked that clean fuel is flowing through but the problem is still there and I am at a loss as to what can be causing it!! Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

When drivin my fazer i have a problem . When i select a higher gear the gear leaver goes up but doesnt go into gear . Only happens the od time and only when goin up the gears . Any ideas what the problem is .. thanks

Hi just to advise I advertised my Fazer 600 abs model last week. This has now been sold elsewhere. Checkout other items from this bike I have forsale. Yamaha genuine accessories, Topbox Fazer mounting brackets, and a 45Ltr Gavi topbox, this box is a MonoLock system box ??I think, there are two type this is the cheaper one. Both items in excellent condition, they were only fitted in July 07. The brackets cost £140 new and the box was £60. No sensible offer refused but bear in mind this item will also be listed on e-bay. ...So as not to inadvertantly hijack another thread (I'm guilty of it too :oops: )....I thought I'd carry on here.... About the only things that fit that bill right now are an EX500 Ninja or an SV650 :? .....oh & of course the new FZ6 Fazer 8) I used to ride this for 13 years, & TBH am missing it quite a bit lately .... Back in the 80's, all the manufacturers had middleweights (pre-600) both in the sportbike & cruiser classes. But now, you're hard-pressed to find any NON full-on 600 sportbikes......closest thing really is the SV650. When I 1st saw the new FZ6, I thought "Thats the ticket I've been waiting for!"......that is until …
