hi, i have a YBR125 '61' and have bought the official Yamaha LED blinkers - http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/accessories/?productCode=YBR125&redirect=false - installed them as it shows.. indicator with the resistor in parallel with it and they supply 2 10ohm resistors, i have installed front and rears of these and they flash too fast and are illegal at the speed they flash. does anyone know of any ways to sort out the speed of flashing without installing a new relay? i have tried installing more resistors but still doesnt seem to help. the original bulb indicators were 10w/12v and my battery is 12v. any advice will be much appreciated. thanks. Oli.

My current project is going to be installing white LED under tank engine accent lighting on my V-Star 1300. Looking to put 2 light strips (one on each side of frame under tank). My question: 1) what is the best way to take the tank off just enough to install the lights, 2) where is the best place to wire them in? I would like to have an on/off switch somewhere in the front of the bike, maybe in the electrical cover under the handle bars. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Also, if anyone has lights on their 1300, pics?

hate making a new thread for issues brought up before but I couldn't find the thread that all the info to reply to. anyways I converted my brake lights to led go here to see more about that and I thought it would be good now to put in led turn signal bulbs. well I ordered the bulbs from http://stores.ebay.com/wardenjp2002 and I knew it wasn't going to be as easy and plugging them and they would work. I got ttp://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062291#showFullReviews 10 Ohm 10W 5% Wirewound Resistor (2-Pack) and tried wiring them up in line cause I read it would make it work but no luck. bulbs didn't flash at all. my question is if I replace the stock 3 prong 12v signal clicker with http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-3-prong-12-Volt-LED-Flasher-LED-turn-signals-/330394449081?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ced0b34b9 will it work. it says Flasher has NEGATIVE ground (flasher will NOT work with early 6v POSITIVE ground cars/truck or motorcycles). not sure if our old bikes fall in this category. thanks
