Hi...you left the side stand down or if you didnt, check the plunger on the switch isnt stuck in, give it a spray with WD40 and get it free, if this doesnt work unplug the wires and short them out to each other and fit a new switch later if this cures it. ...Paul

Never seen a carb like that myself, looks like its got two mixture screws. The filter side being an air adjustment, in to richen and out to lean. And the engine side being a fuel adjustment, out to richen and in to lean. Just a guess!

A picture would help, see FAQ's for pics. The pilot screw on these 2 strokes is normally an air screw and sutuated towards the back of the carb, not the front.

Hi Johnny, welcome to the forum. The bike looks great for its age, a bit of a sickener this happened twice. have a read of this post Here for and idea how to pressure test your engine. I would also advise a bit of plug chopping to see whats going on here. From experience I find that the inlet manifolds dont seal well against the reed cage due to the in-built o-ring becoming flattened, they need a little extra help using a bead of silicone gasket sealer at this point, also they can split on the underside so have a visual inspaction here. What sort of trim is the bike in, is it totally standard with a good air filter fitted clean and oiled? ...Paul

Youre checking the wrong place, its not at the CDI connections its the four way multi connector from the magneto, a white plastic connector that would be the place to check, in fact it will be the same place you checked the spare magneto.

No its not ok, the specs have been given earlier. You are checking the connector that goes back to the magneto arent you?

Hi, not familiar with model but does it have a side stand switch? If so, disconnect it and short out the connectors with a piece of wire and try again, or check the switch with a multi meter. ...Paul
