  13. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-DT175MX-DT175-DT-MX-FRONT-BRAKE-LIGHT-SWITCH-/220783641319?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3367bb02e7 Remember I asked you if you had a new loom? you said no its a 4J3 loom, well the bad news is thats the wrong loom, its a DT125MX loom from a later version to yours I think. No wonder things dont match up. so how did you come to have that and what happened to the original? http://cgi.ebay.de/Yamaha-DT-125-MX-Haupt-Kabelbaum-Wiring-4J3-82590-40-/140517010991?pt=Motorrad_Kraftradteile&hash=item20b7776e2f
  14. I thought the DT125RE started in 2004 ?
  15. I'm with 'Cynic' here...I dont much like the thought of just using the two rear mountings. The engine will not only try to move up at the front as you said...I will also tend to move left at the front without a secure hold there. 16bhp isnt a huge power output but I know these bikes and I think it's too much to expect the rear mounts to take it all....In the words of Simon Cowell Its a no from me

  18. so we have two different posts on this same issue...why?
  19. It must have been set wrong then. it should be smooth and flat inside the exhaust port when the notch in the pulley and the hole behind it are in alignment.
  20. The PV should rotate anti-clockwise with increasing revs when viewed from the pulley end.
  21. Try a new plug.
  22. i'm out of ideas If you have good compression and good fuel and a good spark I suggest you leave the plug out overnight to evaporate any fuel in there, then re-fit and if possible get a couple of people to give you a good shove to bump start it.
  23. can you do a compression test?
