Are we talking male / female bullet connectors here?

All this attempted starting can and will wash away any oil in the cylinder lining / piston rings. Couple that with a degree of mileage and some wear and compression will be reduced causing hard starting. Take out each plug, squirt some oil in each bore and spin the engine befor the next starting attempt.

Sounds promising David. I maybe fill it with white spirit or paraffin (kerosene) and leave it a few days, then fill and shake a few times?

Darren it takes time mate, the bike is old and rare now. you have to search long and hard but ebey is no doubt your best bet. is it a 1G1 model? I will keep an eye out too
