  11. try opening the carb bowl drain screws in case theres water in a bowl, but first you may be able to identify which cylinder is causing trouble by touching the exhaust header with a damp cloth...the problem one wont get so hot...try to use as little choke as necessary to allow it to run or it may mask the problem
  12. There are two connections to the horn, one is 6v supply, the other is ground I suggest you eliminate or prove the horn itself... unplug the horn connections, wire one up direct to battery negative connect a flying lead to battery positive (dont allow the free end to touch your bike touch the free end to the other horn contact tab does it work? if it does then next prove the wiring connect the proper negative connection and repeat the flying lead positive wire test does it work if yes then the problem is in the supply from the battery, through the horn push to the horn if no the problem is in the negative return through to chassis and battery negative
  13. do a compression check jasper, seems like maybe the inlet valve isnt seated right , compare it to one of the good cylinders

  17. aye you could spray them i reckon, use primer suitable for plastics, key them a little with scotchbrite and smooth the scuffs or there again you could just leave them because they might look better now than after youve done them I was just thinking....the better and more shiny you make them the more ugly they will look when you look closely !

  21. keep an eye on the level in the reservoir though...dont let the level get too high in there or get it on your paitwork youll need some small tube wired on to the nipple and syringe, if it leaks from the nipple thread you may have to seal it with ptfe tape. Take care you dont blow the syringe or tube off its fixing and thereby spill fluid on your disk or pads...for that matter take precautions and mask them off first
  22. bloody hell he's an excitable chap
