  11. check your sidestand switch check it's appearance, tightness, connections and if you have a multimeter check it's function...and wiggle it about to make sure it doesnt affect the reading! Spray it with WD40 pehaps you can try bypassing it by disconnecting it and bridging out the connectors on the loom, if the bike works now you need a new stand switch and i am NOT recommending you should ride with it disconnected until you get another, that one is up to you

  17. nahh its the joy of owning an old stroker Jamie...wouldnt have it any other way would we get a few spare plugs in stock and always have one in your jacket pocket with a plug spanner

  19. they arent fast by any means, i have seen about 65 on mine but i'm far too sympathetic to keep doing that! cant remember what i have for a front sprocket though it's been on there for so long now!!
  20. fit another and start the bike, switch the fuel off and rev the engine freely to clear the flooded crankcases...when it dies switch on the fuel, then off again and re-start the engine and repeat another couple of times
  21. well then you will find that your carb is over filling check the float height setting check the float needle is free to move maybe before any of this, give the carb a tap with something like the wooden stock of a hammer just in case it jolts something free
  22. did it run well until it cut out?
  23. ok try with the fuel tap switched off until it runs out of fuel
