  1. Ahh good, theres a lever on ebay if you wanna watch it mate
  2. maybe it's fuel related? got a full tank then?
  3. yeah we've yet to meet but we've seen each other out and about, I'm probably going to stafford bippo if you fancy it given fair weather
  4. It might be prudent to ask him to measure the height of them, both the old and the new ones...when he gets a set out, just like at the end of the thread I linked
  5. yeah dust seals, hopefully it will be apparent to you just how they fit I know It's a different bike but hey...i'm thinking he bought correct for his bike too!
  6. Last time I had any input on this subject the chap had to bin the idea because the bearings were taller than the original ones so it wouldnt assemble right...worth bearing in mind... I have found one of these makes a good tool to help remove the races...a plugging chisel / mortar chisel
  7. http://www.tonyarcher.co.uk/
  8. Good point john, i found it extreemly funny too, its been posted here before

  10. Great merv, yeah can you believe this weather I keep looking at the snowman on next doors lawn wishing it would feck off!
  11. maybe the float somehow jammed? Try tapping the bowl with the stock of a hammer...see if it jolts it clear
  12. how come you cant remove a tank with fuel in it then ? it's just a little heavier!
  13. thats gotta be a record..well done anyway
  14. some bikes turn the engine via the clutch you cant kick them with the clutch lever pulled. you need to give a little slack at the lever, my guess is you took up too much slack so now the clutch is disengaged, screw in the cable adjusters until you have just a little free play.
  15. I really like paint.net its free to download easy picture re-sizer arrows circles lines text not a problem...any line size any colour you like mostly i just use the cropping and re-size functions because you never need more than 800 pixels wide anyway...then upload it to photobucket or whatever other host you use
  16. pah! use paint.net it's free and do it there, it's way better than photobucket...who i might add have gone downhill with their latest version
  17. first post...Greetings post Q's in the appropriate place, this is just for intros really
  18. I take it you used the adjusters to give only a small amount of slack in the cable? going to 1st from 2nd is often tricky, best have a properly warmed up engine before you delve too deep, and it's also easier with the bike in motion
  19. well i'm surprised at that, it's no use fitting smaller bolts because the holes in the plate will be too big and it's risky..best get a refund and buy yamaha one then
